General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has to eventually return home sooner or later. There is no way a person with as high a public profile as his can stay under the radar forever.

There have been close calls but explosive show spoilers reveal that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may cement her relationship with the amnesiac before he goes home. This would transpire if they were to jump in bed together.

Such a happenstance would be a serious thing for both characters who are not fickle teens. They have been circling the wagons for some time now and if they went to the next level it would be meaningful for them. In this case Nina would have to fight off Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) for Sonny.

Nina Reeves almost let the cat out of the bag when she had a video call with her grandson for his birthday. Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) initiated the call and wouldn’t you know it, Sonny and Carly could have seen each other.

GH Spoilers – Nina Reeves And Sonny Corinthos Are Falling in Love In Nixon Falls

It’s obvious to see that both Sonny Corinthos and Nina Reeves are smitten with each other. Thus far they have been careful to put the brakes on since he has no idea of who he even is. Nina knows, but he does not know that she knows!

If Nina and Smike make it official, how will he handle learning about his past as an important and influential mobster?

Sonny had power and that can be quite intoxicating to men and women alike. Is there any real possibility that Nina and Mike could make a life for themselves in little ole Nixon Falls? It’s likely that one of the owners will be gone soon, and that leaves an opening for Mike to stay on. But Nina is a big time city gal and would she give up all her perks to live above a bar?

For now all of that is conjecture. What we do know is that August Sweeps is upon us and the fire between Smike and Nina is about to rage. There is nothing keeping Nina from giving in to her feelings physically and she has been long gone emotionally. Still, how will they handle the truth when it comes out in the light of day?
