General Hospital Spoilers – Mike Corbin Freaks Out
As GH viewers know, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has been visiting his father, Mike in the hospital. Mike was refusing to get out of bed because he was scared. Moreover, his memory seems to have faded, even more, leaving Sonny an emotional wreck. Finally, after telling Mike a story about a young Sonny Corinthos learning to ride a bicycle even though he was afraid, Mike woke up. Sonny’s dad reluctantly agreed to talk just a five-minute walk around the nurse’s station with Sonny.
Everything seemed to be going fine. Sonny led Mike around by the arm and Mike was walking along just fine. Mike didn’t remember that Sonny was his son, but at least he was out of bed walking. Then, Mike’s face expressed shock and horror when he saw Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Brando walk into the room. Words came flying out of Mike’s mouth. To everyone’s astonishment, they were, “It’s not possible, you’re dead!”
GH Spoilers – Could Sonny Corinthos Have a Sibling He Knows Nothing About?
Now, Mike’s exclamation has many GH fans scratching their heads. Anyone who has watched General Hospital for any length of time knows that Sonny’s relationship with Mike has been incredibly strained in the past. That’s because Mike left Sonny and his mother when Sonny was a child.

That by itself might cause mistrust and perhaps outright hatred on Sonny’s part. However, to add insult to injury, Sonny discovered that Mike had gotten into a new relationship after he’d abandoned Sonny’s mom.
Sonny found out he had a sister he knew nothing about as a result of Mike’s union with that other woman. Some may now be wondering if it’s possible that Brando might not just be a kid brother Mike never told Sonny about.
That might be another shock to the system for Sonny, but why should Mike tell him he’d had a younger brother if, as Mike said, the kid was dead?
General Hospital Spoilers – Brando Corbin Could Be Part of a Mob Family
GH fans know that after Sonny grew up, he became involved with the mafia. Mike knew about some of that. Mike even knew that Sonny had carried out a hit as part of his “duties.” Mike even tried to help Sonny hide the body! Some GH fans might wonder if Mike ever tried to remove “threats” from Sonny’s life … sort of as a way of saying “I’m sorry” for abandoning Sonny as a child.

Might Brando either be a threat Mike thought he’d removed before moving in with Sonny? Is it perhaps possible that either Brando is a cop who was investigating the Corinthos family, or that he was an enforcer for a rival crime family? Might Brando be someone like Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) who was sent to get close and then “take care” of Sonny?
GH Spoilers – GH Fans Will Have To Wait
The truth is, there are a lot of scenarios as to why Mike blurted out what he did. GH fans don’t know what Mike meant. Sonny doesn’t know. Carly doesn’t know. Heck, at this point it’s possible that Brando doesn’t even know what Mike is talking about!
At this point, viewers may have their own theories, but everyone’s going to have to wait and see how this all plays out.
