General Hospital Spoilers: Mike Overhears Wiley Shocker, No One Believes Him – Michael Gets Truth and Doesn’t Know It?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Mike Corbin (Max Gail) could suddenly find himself involved in the “Wiley Cooper-Jones” (Erik and Theo Olson) storyline. GH fans know Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) was transferred to Turning Woods, where he remains in a coma. It’s probably no coincidence that General Hospital writers put Lucas at the same place Mike happens to be.

There’s been some GH buzz about Mike possibly overhearing the truth about “Wiley.” However, it’s unlikely that anyone would believe Mike in his current state. His Alzheimer’s has really taken a toll at this point – and Mike wouldn’t remember anything he overheard for long. Still, there’s a possibility that Mike will discover the truth long before Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) does.

General Hospital Spoilers – Brad Cooper Keeps Bringing It Up

Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) hasn’t shut up about “Wiley” being Michael’s son since the accident. Lucas can’t say anything because he’s in a coma, but Brad can still go on and on about it by his bedside. Nobody knows if Lucas will even recall what Brad told him once he awakens. Nevertheless, the more Brad talks, the more likely it becomes that he’ll be overheard.

Brad can’t seem to stop mentioning it now that he’s revealed “Wiley’s” true identity to Lucas. Will Brad eventually be overheard? If so, Mike could be the one who eavesdrops on his confession.

GH Spoilers – Mike Corbin Lives at Turning Woods

Mike is constantly roaming the halls of Turning Woods – like when he goes looking for Yvonne Godfrey (Janet Hubert), who he believes is his wife. He’s also commented several times on “Wiley” looking like Michael and sometimes even Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Of course, the Corinthos clan doesn’t realize there’s a logical explanation for that.

Mike’s comments have often been ignored because it’s assumed he can’t grasp that “Wiley” is adopted. Everyone thinks Mike’s just forgotten due to the Alzheimer’s. In reality, Mike is simply speaking the truth. If Mike overhears and tries to blab, it could be viewed as Mike sinking further into this delusion or misunderstanding somehow.

General Hospital Spoilers – Mike Corbin Is Rarely Present Anymore

Mike’s condition has been declining steadily, so anything Mike may be disregarded. Plus, the Corinthos family would never believe that Brad would steal Michael’s child – not without evidence or a confession from someone more reliable. No one’s going to take Mike seriously if he overhears

So what would be the point of Mike hearing this secret? It could be a way for General Hospital writers to deliver an “almost reveal” and provide some exciting drama. The idea of Michael learning the truth without realizing it’s the truth is interesting.

It could also set up a clue that would remain in the back of Michael’s mind. Something could click into place for Michael if more clues come along later. Will Mike’s knowledge of what Brad did be his final gift to his grandson? Could Mike eventually put “Wiley” in his rightful father’s arms?

No one is going to believe Mike right off the bat, but this would be a fitting end to his Alzheimer’s storyline. It’ll still be a sad conclusion since Mike will inevitably die, but a parting gift like this might help ease the pain.
