General Hospital Spoilers: Molly’s Deceit Might Spell The End Of Her Marriage

General Hospital spoilers tease Molly Lansing Davis (Haley Pullos) is about to learn she can’t become a mother. That’s not the hardest battle that lies ahead for her though. Molly will struggle to tell her domestic partner, T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow), the truth. Even though she believes T.J. didn’t want to become a parent for several more years, she knows he expects to at some point and looks forward to sharing that milestone with her.

Telling him that she can’t ever give him a child is going to be heartbreaking for Molly, and so she’s honestly rather not. If they aren’t planning to have children for a few years anyway, then she can feasibly keep him in the dark until such a time. It’s too bad that won’t bode well for her or their marriage at all.

When Molly swings by her physician’s office, she won’t be expecting the news she’s about to receive. Sure, she was hopeful that the home pregnancy test might have been a dud and she really is pregnant, but none of the early symptoms are there. However, she still doesn’t have a cycle. Without a speck of blood in sight, Molly is wondering what else might be going on. Is it her thyroid? Could she have a menstrual disorder and not know it? That kind of thing usually doesn’t happen spontaneously. She’s been under a lot of stress and working long hours. Maybe that’s the problem. Nope. Unfortunately, it’s much more simple in Molly’s case. She was born infertile — and she’s just now finding out.

When T.J. inquires about her doctor’s appointment, it’ll crush Molly to lie to him, but she’s not ready to talk about the truth just yet. She doesn’t want him to feel differently about her or look at her like she’s defective. She doesn’t want to hear his doctor speak and feels like one of his patients he’s trying to help when she just needs the comfort of her partner. Instead, she’s going to go at this alone— not telling him what really happened. How long can that last?

When Molly lies and tells T.J. that her appointment was fine and blames her absent period on stress and lifestyle factors, he’s going to suggest they spend more time together in a more relaxed state. While that sounds lovely, Molly can’t imagine spending even more time with T.J. right now. She needs to distract herself with work and be anywhere but near him. Every time she’s with him, it’s an opportunity for another need to lie to arise, and she can’t stomach that. As she continues to put distance between them, they might not ever have to talk about children again, because they may not be able to weather the storm she’s about to create.
