General Hospital Spoilers Monday, December 21: Sonny MIA After Bridge Collapse, Jason’s Frantic Search – Baby Gender Reveal For Maxie & Peter

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, December 21, tease that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will lash out at Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and reject the idea that they’re anything alike. As far as Laura’s concerned, they share some DNA through their biological father and that’s it.

Laura will also warn Cyrus not to ask for something his mother can’t give him. Florence Grey apparently couldn’t get past the fact that Cyrus ran down and killed Gordon Grey. Although Cyrus was cleared, Florence didn’t believe her son. Laura may argue that Cyrus can’t expect Florence to have a change of heart or forgive him now.

General Hospital Spoilers – Longtime Grudge

Other General Hospital spoilers say Gregory Chase (Gregory Chase) will talk to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) about his long-standing grudge against him. Of course, Gregory has the wrong idea about that grudge. Finn slept with Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) the night before she married Gregory, so Finn has actually stayed away out of guilt.

On Monday, it looks like Gregory will mention how Finn was angry about him moving on so quickly following the death of his mother. Finn will admit that was true, but it wasn’t the reason he didn’t come to the wedding.

Naturally, Finn may not be willing to come clean about hitting the sheets with Jackie, but he might share something else. Finn may have some way to keep easing the tension – and so will Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) since he’ll drag his brother into a poker game. Chase and Finn might encourage Gregory to join in as well, which would bring some great bonding time for this father and his sons.

GH Spoilers – Anna Devane And Valentin Cassadine Talk

Next, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will sit down for a conversation with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). She won’t think Valentin’s going to like what she has to say. Anna met with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) upon Valentin’s request, so she may confess she did see some troubling signs in him. Valentin may be more fearful after Anna brings him up to speed on her perspective.

As for Dante, he’ll meet up with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and have a chance to bond with Baby Donna Corinthos (Ella and Emma Hulen). Dante will also open up to Carly, who’ll think he’s doing the right thing – for whatever it’s worth. Carly might hear about how Dante’s trying not to push too hard with Rocco Falconeri (O’Neill Monahan).

Dante told Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) that he needed help, so she pointed out Rocco could spend some of his time at home and still spend three nights a week or so at Grandma’s. Olivia offered plenty of reassurance that Dante and Rocco will figure out their relationship again in time. Carly should agree with that and offer Dante a pep talk in Monday’s GH episode.

General Hospital Spoilers – Peter August Learns Something

Other General Hospital spoilers say Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will learn something that catches him off guard. Peter will bring up something that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) has been meaning to talk to him about. Maxie and Peter previously decided to wait on finding out their baby’s gender, but Maxie may confess that she’d like to know.

Considering how Maxie usually rolls, we wouldn’t be surprised if she managed to find out already! Peter will be on board with whatever Maxie wants to do, so they’ll both be celebrating once the baby gender mystery’s revealed to viewers.

Meanwhile, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will do his best to play the hero and save Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). GH fans know Sonny fell into the water after the footbridge gave way, but Jason will frantically try to rescue him.

“Bring the body here,” someone orders Jason in Monday’s preview clip. The good news is that’ll be Julian Jerome (William DeVry) instead of Sonny – and let’s be honest: Julian’s death was inevitable after everything he’d done. The bad news is Sonny will be MIA, so Jason won’t know if his boss is dead or alive.
