General Hospital Spoilers Monday, February 8: Nina Quizzes ‘Mike’ & Phyllis – Joss’ Confession At Morgan’s Grave – Ava’s Bold Move

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, February 8, tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will try to make sense of a strange situation. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) just picked up the phone at The Tan-O and revealed that “Mike” was speaking, but Nina must be thinking she recognizes that voice – even if she can’t quite place it yet.

“What did you say your name was?” a confused Nina asks in Monday’s preview video. Nina will probably start to realize this guy sounds an awful lot like presumed dead Sonny. Once Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) gets on the line, Nina may pump her for information as well. It’s possible Phyllis will discuss how “Mike” was found after his river fall and has no idea who he really is.

Sonny had a bit of a reaction after Phyllis told him about meeting with a woman in Port Charles – and GH fans know that woman was Nina. The puzzle pieces could click into place between Sonny’s familiar voice and Phyllis’ information, but we’ll just have to see how it all plays out.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Persumed Death

Of course, the reason for this call is undoubtedly to offer updates on Nina’s dead daughter, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). Nina may fill Phyllis in before turning her attention to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West). Ava will get into a spirited debate with someone on Monday, so that someone just might be Nina.

After Ava shares her perspective, she’ll feel like the person she’s talking to hasn’t heard a word she’s said. If Nina realizes Sonny is alive, Ava may work to keep her quiet about that. We have to remember that Sonny’s presumed death has worked out well for Ava, who finally got custody of Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) again.

GH Spoilers – Nina Reeves Clues In

Ava may have a lot to tell Nina about Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) sneaky effort to get the necklace at Wyndemere. It could dawn on Nina that Carly’s desire to protect this secret was awfully intense. One way or another, Nina will eventually figure out that Carly was with Nelle right before her death and may have had a hand in it – at least Nina should assume that based on the cover-up.

Whether Nina clues in on all that right now or not, it’s obvious more trouble is brewing. General Hospital spoilers say Nina will change her mind later in the week and will fly into a rage. We might see Nina decide to come clean about Sonny’s survival – only to keep quiet in the end because of Nelle’s fate.

Other General Hospital spoilers state that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will want the whole truth and nothing but the truth! Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will be backed into a corner after Valentin spills theories and pushes Peter to make a full confession. Valentin will be tired of getting bits and pieces of Peter’s past, so he’ll expect to hear the entire story.

General Hospital Spoilers – Elizabeth Webber Gets An Opology

At GH, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will get a surprising apology – or at least some comments that resemble one. Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will also tell Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) that he already did something. Finn may think it’s a bad call to lash out at Peter under the circumstances, but Franco might confess to blasting him in his office at The Invader.

At Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) grave, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will reflect on losing so many people she loves. In the past few years, Joss has faced the loss of Morgan, Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Stitt), Mike Corbin (Max Gail), Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) and now Sonny. There’ll be part of Josslyn that feels like the family’s never going to escape all the doom and gloom.

Carly will support Josslyn and undoubtedly get some support in return. They’ll both think back on some Morgan memories in the cemetery and wish things had turned out differently. Finally, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will face more pressure from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Anna will have a strong hunch that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) was the one who prompted Britt’s change of heart about Peter.

Britt will have to decide how much she’s going to reveal to Anna, but Anna will continue her search for Obrecht either way. We’ll keep you posted as other GH news rolls in.
