General Hospital Spoilers Monday, January 18: Sonny Is a Hero – Michael & Willow End Marriage – Joss’ Journal Clue – Ava’s Risky Idea

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, January 18, tease that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will have a chat with someone who gives her a terrific idea, so she’ll form a new plan. This may have something to do with Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) desire to get her necklace back.

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) claims the necklace isn’t ready, but Ava may feel like she could swing by the jewelry repair shop herself and convince them to hurry things along. Ava could always offer to take the necklace somewhere else to get if fixed ASAP. She may think it’s weird for the shop to be taking this long anyway, but GH viewers know there’s a reason for that.

Carly simply needed to get the half-heart pendant away from Avery since there could be trouble if Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) sees it. The necklace used to belong to Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier), so Carly would rather have that news stay under wraps.

General Hospital Spoilers – Avery Corinthos Wants The Necklace Back

Unfortunately, Avery is determined to get that specific necklace back since it’s the one her daddy liked. Ava will be persistent about this as a result, so she’ll start closing in on the secret Carly’s keeping with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). This could serve as a clue that Ava puts together with more hints down the road.

In the meantime, Nina will react to some surprising updates. She’ll be curious what someone’s thinking, so that might be Jax suggesting that they live together. Nina’s over at Jax’s house all the time anyway, so Jax may think they should just make it official.

GH Spoilers – Wedding Bells

General Hospital spoilers say Jax and Nina will move their relationship forward through an important step on Monday. Having Nina officially move in would qualify, but could wedding bells be on the horizon?

Jax may indeed decide to pop the question at some point, but that probably won’t be what he proposes at Crimson on Monday’s episode. When the time comes, Jax will hopefully do it up right with a night to remember.

Until then, Carly will have a hard time dealing with Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) presumed death. She’ll get choked up as she talks about not being able to shake a certain feeling. Jax will also ask somebody if he or she’s having second thoughts, so that may fit with Carly’s General Hospital spoilers for Monday.

Carly may admit part of her believes Sonny’s still alive, but Jax will probably argue that it’s wishful thinking. At some point in this gripping GH episode, Carly will make a crushing choice. That could potentially involve going against her instincts and planning a memorial service to formally bid Sonny farewell.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Saves The Day

As for Sonny, General Hospital spoilers say he’ll intervene with the robber and land in grave danger as a result. Lenny Caulfield wasn’t a huge fan of Sonny when he first arrived, but he’ll change his tune after Sonny saves the day. The thug will warn Sonny to shut up and point his gun at him, but Sonny will fight back.

It looks like Sonny will make a quick move to disarm this robber, so he’ll be safe along with Lenny and Phyllis Caulfield (Juliette Jeffries). Back in Port Charles, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will ask someone about where he or she’s been. There’s a good chance it’ll be Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), so her news about stopping by Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) house probably won’t go over well.

As for Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), she’ll ask Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) for some spy tips. Robert might note that Olivia did all right when she burst in for a rescue at the casino they went to. Of course, Olivia ran into some hurdles before that went down, so she may think she could use some coaching.

Robert’s bound to wonder what this is all about, so Olivia might confess she’s hoping to learn the truth behind Tracy’s agenda. Next, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will come clean about their complicated feelings – that goes for the ones they have for each other as well as the ones they have for Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson).

Although it’ll break their hearts to do it, Willow and Michael will decide ending their marriage is for the best. It won’t be long until Michael and Willow break out the annulment papers to sign, but it’ll be a sad day for them both.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will express confusion. Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will mention something about Josslyn throwing away her journal, so Joss won’t get it. She’ll struggle to make sense of why Cameron would believe she’d just toss it out like that.

Cam will look confused, too – and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will be there to help put the puzzle pieces together. Will the gang figure out that Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” lied and forged that journal entry to trick Cameron? That realization has to be coming up, but we’ll see if it happens now or later.
