After Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth) and Emma Scorpio-Drake’s (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) adorable performance, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) keeps the show going and promises there’ll be no act-crashers this year. In a closet, Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) bound and gagged when Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) opens the door. After Liesl’s untied, Epiphany warns her not to stay away from the stage.

General Hospital Spoilers & Updates: Carly Corinthos Threatens Ava Jerome Over Avery

Over with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), she’s got a jump drive that gives her leverage over Ava Jerome (Maura West). Ava expects to pick Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) up the next morning, but Carly corners Ava in the restroom and insist Ava will be surrendering custody.

After Ava realizes Carly got her hands on Ava’s sex tape with Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi), she brushes off the threat and intends to let Carly do her worst. Paul gets a text from Carly and confronts Ava about filming their steamy session. He doesn’t want to lose his job, so he instructs Ava to cave in when it comes to Carly’s demands.

The recording of Ava’s Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sullivan) murder confession could still go public if Paul has nothing to lose. Ava tracks down Carly again and wrestles the jump drive away so she can flush it. Carly points out that it doesn’t matter since there’s a backup copy in The Cloud. She advises Ava to throw in the towel here.

Over with Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes), he’s upset to see Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) unconscious backstage. Bobbie wants to stay and watch Lucas marry Brad Cooper (Parry Shen), but he thinks she should get examined at GH. After giving Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) updates, Lucas promises to come back soon.

Meanwhile, Jake Webber (Hudson West) is nervous about his performance. Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) thinks it’s helpful to think of the crowd as a bunch of quacking ducks. Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) is pleased over Franco’s advice, but Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) and Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) aren’t amused across the room.

Franco Helps Jake Out On Stage – Nurses Ball Spoilers

Once Jake’s act has to be moved up, he freaks out a bit. Franco worries about Jake feeling like a failure, so Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) realizes how much Franco truly cares about Jake. As stage fright hits Jake hard, Franco joins him and reminds him of their earlier conversation with a “quack.” Jake pulls off his song with Franco’s help and credits Franco later, which Jason isn’t happy about.

Jason eventually vents to Sam about Franco’s manipulation and wishes Elizabeth would see the threat he poses to Jake. Afterward, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennessy) shows up to fill Jason in on Nikolas Cassadine’s (Tyler Christopher) lawsuit over paying for ELQ shares with illegal funds. Diana thinks everything will work out in the end, but ELQ’s lawsuits are frozen for now.

Meanwhile, Nikolas thwarts Hayden Barnes’ (Rebecca Budig) attempt to deliver shooting into to Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine). When Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) catches Nikolas getting a little too physical with Hayden, he approaches them and warns Nik to let her go.

GH Nurses Ball Spoilers: Lucas Late To His Own Wedding

Liesl winds up at GH, where she questions Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) about why he quit his last job. Finn stays tight-lipped, but Liesl isn’t giving up on figuring out his secrets. Back with Lucas, he gets Bobbie settled in at GH and is urged to go back to his wedding.

On stage at the Nurses Ball again, Lucy gives Lucas an introduction. Lucas doesn’t appear, which leaves Brad without a groom and unsettles Sam. When Lucas forgets something at GH, he finds someone wearing a lab coat with a syringe in Bobbie’s room. Lucas confronts the intruder before he’s left out cold on the floor.
