General Hospital Spoilers Liesl Obrecht Nurses Ball, Kathleen GatiGeneral Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, May 25, tease that the ABC soap has something fun in store for fans. As part of the show’s new Nurses Ball theme, they’ll be re-airing some great Nurses Ball classics. To start things off, General Hospital spoilers say we’re headed back to 2014’s big event, so here’s what’s happening in Monday’s episode.

First, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) talks to Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) about the Ava Jerome (Maura West) situation. Ava has landed on Sonny’s private island, so Sonny is reassured of that. When the topic of the Nurses Ball comes up, Sonny confesses that Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) found out about him hooking up with Ava. He thinks it’s best to skip the event, but Shawn suggests Sonny should go.

General Hospital Spoilers: Nathan West Questions Maxie About Levi

At Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) place, Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) catches her looking at her Nurses Ball invitation. Nathan deduces that Maxie’s having second thoughts about not attending, but Maxie covers by arguing that she was thinking about the wasted trees and money down the drain.

Although Nathan thinks Levi Dunkleman (Zachary Garred) put that idea in Maxie’s head, she denies that Levi’s the reason she’s not going. Maxie does admit she’s had a good time at Nurses Balls in the past. Even so, Maxie argues that she’ll be fine with spending the evening at home with Levi.

Next, Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) quizzes Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) about Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). Nikolas gets a bit rattled as Spencer suggests Nik looks at Liz like he wants to marry her. Nikolas dismisses the notion, but he can’t take his eyes off Elizabeth when she shows up looking fabulous in her gown. He eventually lets Liz know that he’s decided to stay home with Spencer.

General Hospital Spoilers Next Week: Felicia Covers For Lucy Coe

In a dressing room, General Hospital spoilers show Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) thinks Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) was wise to break things off with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). Although Lucy misses Scott, she’s adamant about protecting her relationship with Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom). Lucy’s relieved that Kevin never found out anything, but Kevin overhears a portion of the conversation and questions Lucy.

Felicia interjects that Lucy has a surprise Nurses Ball performance planned. Lucy doesn’t really have anything cooked up, but Felicia privately reassures her. She’s certain Lucy will figure something out.

Out on the red carpet, Olivia snaps at Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and avoids answering a reporter’s question about her romance with Sonny.

The General Hospital Cast Hits The Nurses’ Ball Red Carpet – ABC Soap Updates

Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) ends up tripping and falling on the red carpet, but Silas Clay (Michael Easton) sweetly helps her up and downplays the blunder. Over with Olivia again, she drags Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth) over to be her escort. That prompts a reporter’s curiosity, and Olivia needles Sonny about the reason when he appears. Sonny doesn’t think Olivia wants to make their drama a public matter.

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) get Olivia out of there before she blurts out something she can’t undo. When Felix DuBois (Marc Anthony Samuel) bumps into Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes), they realize they’re both alone and decide to strut down the red carpet as a duo.

Meanwhile, Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) keeps a miserable Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) company while she watches the red-carpet interviews. They’re entertained by Sam’s fall, but Brad isn’t thrilled about seeing Lucas and Felix together. Britt, however, is intrigued to find Elizabeth is attending with Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and not Nikolas.

After Scott shows up at the Nurses Ball with Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman), it leaves Lucy tense and Kevin notices. Back with Maxie, she gets an earful from Levi about watching the red carpet event, but she still wants to watch 10 minutes. Levi’s irritated over the reporter going on and on about how handsome Nathan is, but Maxie steers the conversation to something else.

GH Spoilers: Enraged Dante Corners Sonny And Demands Answers

A little later, Levi catches Maxie off guard by suggesting they go to the Nurses Ball together after all. Back with Sonny, he faces an enraged Dante and is forced to come clean about cheating on Olivia. Dante hits the roof and wants to know who Sonny cheated with. Sonny doesn’t divulge that information, so Dante backs off for now but lets Sonny know this isn’t over.

After the traditional Nurses Ball welcome song begins, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) hijacks it with her own cabaret version. Lucy’s upset, but Liesl feels confident her rendition is far better than the fluffy one Lucy had in mind. The crowd’s too shocked to applaud, and Brad’s left looking stunned at home, too. He remarks on how nutty the hospital is while a floored Britt sits nearby.

That’s it for Monday’s classic General Hospital episode! We’ll give you updates as other GH news comes in. Stay tuned to the ABC soap and don’t forget to check back often for the latest General Hospital spoilers, news and updates.

Not really. A little of Lucy Coe goes a long long way. Once a year is plenty, but everyday for weeks is going to be mind numbing.
