General Hospital fans were thrilled early last summer when it looked like Jordan might actually get a real love interest, so, um — what happened to that?

General Hospital Spoilers – Introduces Zeke Robinson

It was a year ago this month when Gavin Houston debuted as Zeke Robinson, Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) brother. He was in town for Portia’s wedding to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), but quickly disappeared after the wedding ended.

However, a few months later he turned up in Port Charles once again as Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) lawyer. Zeke is the one who negotiated Drew’s plea deal for his insider trading mess thinking that Drew would only be sentenced to Spring Ridge for a few months.

After Drew was sentenced to Pentonville for three years, it felt like Zeke slinked out of town with his tail between his legs, but there was still a reason for him to stay.

During his time in PC trying to talk sense into Drew, Zeke had a one-night stand with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).

Jordan had just kissed her ex Curtis but came to her senses and got the heck away from him because she knew damn well he was just angry at Portia.

When she met Zeke at the Metro Court pool bar they hit it off and then hit the sheets. Jordan was happy to find a man who could keep her mind off Curtis — until she realized she had just slept with Portia’s brother.

Zeke did not care that he had gotten involved with his new brother-in-law’s ex-wife so it looked like Jordan might find a long-term relationship and that GH had a new regular character. Then, Zeke disappeared without an explanation and we never heard his name again.

Now, GH seems to want to pair Jordan with Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) enforcer Brick and it’s just not working. Jordan would never fall for a man like Brick and the chemistry just isn’t chemming the way it did when she was with Zeke.

Maybe it’s time for Portia to call her brother and invite him to town once again. We are sure someone can use a lawyer, but we hope a crazed Drew Cain doesn’t threaten him the way he’s been threatening Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
