General Hospital Spoilers: Nancy Lee Grahn Confirms Staying On GH, Not Going Anywhere

General Hospital: Nancy Lee Grahn General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal on an episode on April 8 showed a special Alexis episode as the actress Nancy Lee Grahn’s marking of 25 years in the soap this coming September. The episode was focused on Alexis’ preparation for her three-year stint in Pentonville for attacking Dante (portrayed by Dominic Zamprogna) and had left the GH fans asking if Nancy Lee Grahn was exiting from the show.

While doing a live-tweeting with Nancy’s fans during the episode, the actress once and for all cleared their speculations. She assured them: “I’m not going anywhere.”

The actress also revealed her character Alexis Davis was not written off of the story. “You’ll see me in prison tomorrow. It’s not a good day for Alexis,” the actress continued.

The Daytime Emmy-Award star declared: “No end in sight. They’ll have to drag me out kicking and screaming.”

With this, fans can rest assured they will be seeing much more of Alexis as she continues to venture off of rediscovering her real identity and purpose in life while in prison.

It is guaranteed with GH’s latest announcement of an additional and returning cast. Sydney Walsh will enter the scene portraying the character of Maggie, a prisoner in Pentonville, with whom Alexis will be interacting.

Sean Blakemore as Shawn Butler is also set to return in the show. Shawn has been stuck in prison for years after being sentenced for a crime he was innocent of.

General Hospital Spoilers – Alexis’ Davys Last Day Of Freedom

Before Alexis’s special episode aired on ABC, the actress shared ABC’s GH Preview article on her Instagram.

Nancy revealed that most of her scenes were shot in one day. “Lines when they are written well are easy to learn. When you like what you are doing, it’s not hard, it’s fun,” she said at the outlet.

She hinted that fans can expect Alexis’s life to intersect with more characters in the show. “But most importantly with a new character we haven’t seen before. I feel like this show is not much about what Alexis discovers, but how that discovery and resolution will affect the heart of so many who watch it,” she continued.

The actress was first known for her character as whip-smart attorney Julia Wainwright in “Santa Barbara.” GH cast her with a similar role when the former show was canceled.

The character, Alexis Davis, firmly defined herself in the show as “A Fighter, an Idealist, and an Advocate” which was shown with her latest therapy session with Kevin

The actress expressed her gratitude for GH in dedicating the episode to Alexis’s alter ego.

In hitting the 25-year mark at GH: “It means that I’ve lived long enough and worked hard long enough to know exactly how lucky I’ve been, and continue to be. My gratitude to ABC for its loyalty to the iconic GENERAL HOSPITAL, which allowed me to raise my daughter with all the trimmings, all while giving me a stage and a play to perform every day, is beyond measure.”
