General Hospital Spoilers: Nathan Fired for Cover-Up Chaos, Detective Loses Badge?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) isn’t the only problematic cop at the PCPD now that Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) has made a risky decision.

Nathan used to be the kind of detective who’d do things by the book, but now he’s stuck in a situation that’s forcing him to rethink that stance.

Since Nathan has fallen for Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), that’s undoubtedly a big part of why he’s willing to cover for Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and try to make all this go away.

Nathan knows how much Lulu loves Rocco, so he also realizes how devastated she’d be if Rocco faced serious consequences.

Since Rocco shot WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), he could get locked up or even disappear forever considering how they operate!

There was no way Nathan could risk whatever the WSB might have in store for Rocco, so he stepped up for Rocco along with Lulu.

Now that this cover-up is officially underway, Nathan is taking some huge gambles. Since Nathan is keeping secrets from the police commissioner and not upholding the law, he’s putting his PCPD position in jeopardy.

Nathan is also jeopardizing his friendship with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), which is already on shaky ground due to Nathan choosing to date Lulu.

This is a massive mess that’s only going to get worse in the coming months. Once the real story inevitably comes to light, Nathan could get busted and perhaps lose his job over this.

Nathan might get fired from the police department and have to hand over his badge down the road. Naturally, Nathan might also open himself up to legal charges along with vengeful Cullum’s anger, so this is a terrible ordeal all around.

Nevertheless, Nathan doesn’t see any other path forward right now, so he’ll stick to the plan. There’ll be more opportunities for Nathan to pile on the deception as he lets Jason take the blame for what happened to Cullum.

Nathan has good reasons for doing what he’s doing, but some GH fans feel like the old version of Nathan would’ve handled things differently. You could argue Nathan’s actions are another potential warning sign that he’s not who he claims to be.

Since there have been hints about Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) having a fourth child, “Nathan” might actually be his twin brother. Time will tell whether that’s true or not, but Nathan may continue to do things that are out of character somewhat.

Do you think Nathan will get fired once his cover-up crumbles? Could Nathan face charges of his own – or worse, face the wrath of Cullum?

General Hospital spoilers say Nathan has some tough challenges ahead, so stay tuned for any disturbing news to come on ABC’s GH. Be sure to check back often for all the scorching General Hospital spoilers and news you’re looking for!
