General Hospital Spoilers: Ned Quartermaine Wakes Up Thinking He’s Eddie Maine From The ‘90s

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that the Quartermaine family, especially Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will pray for a miracle, as Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) remains unconscious, fighting for his life. Sadly, just as Ned was about to tell Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) the truth about Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and SEC, he slipped on a towel, hit his head, and fell into the Metro Court Pool.

There’s a good chance he will suffer amnesia or short-term memory loss, which would extend Nina’s SEC cover-up. But could he also bring back a 1990s heartthrob in the process?

GH spoilers for the week of June 12th imply that Nina will deal with major anxiety, so there’s a good chance that Ned will wake up. Mr. Quartermaine was deprived of oxygen (briefly) and dealt with a major blow to the head, so it’s hard to know what he’ll be like when he wakes up.

Added teasers state that the Q’s will all be left stunned, so there’s a good chance that something major happens when Ned opens his eyes.

GH Spoilers – Eddie Maine Is Back, Baby!

Could Ned wake up, reverting to his rockstar persona, circa the 1990s?

Long-term GH fans may remember when Ned paraded around as Eddie Maine when he was married to Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer), who also happens to be Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) mom.

Short-term memory loss, versus complete amnesia, has become the ‘go-to’ arc for many head-injury-related storylines in the land of soaps. Ned may wake up only recognizing his mom, maybe BLQ, but wanting nothing to do with Olivia, yet asking to see Lois.

Plus, he’ll want to focus on music, versus ELQ. Waking up as Eddie Maine would completely flip this storyline upside, and complicate things for Ned. He won’t only forget about Nina’s secret, but it could take a toll on his marriage, and business career.
