General Hospital Spoilers: Nelle Genuinely Afraid of Wiley’s Surgery – For Once Not Scamming?

General Hospital: Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier)General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that it’s possible Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) for once in her life isn’t scamming Michael. Nelle’s apparent fear for the safety of Wiley Cooper-Jones (Erik and Theo Olson) could actually be genuine.

General Hospital Spoilers – Nelle Benson’s Telling the Truth

While the vast majority of GH viewers will be smirking and saying, “Yeah, uh huh. Right.” The fact is that it’s possible Nelle is honestly afraid for the life of her son. While it may seem that Nelle has only used Wiley as leverage in an obsession to hurt the Quartermaine and Corinthos families, what if that isn’t the case this time? GH viewers ought to remember that Nelle still suffers from chronic pain to this day after undergoing surgery of her own. What if Nelle honestly doesn’t want the same for Wiley?

The truth is, unfortunately, it’s hard to tell. Some GH fans will argue that because Nelle lies so much, even if she tells the truth, it will come out sounding like a lie.

General Hospital Spoilers – Nelle Benson Wants a Second Opinion

One thing a lot of GH fans seem to be ignoring is the fact that if Nelle is truly afraid for Wiley’s life, then one has to ask why Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) doesn’t simply find a doctor who can give a second opinion? After all, technology has come a long way since Michael had his surgery ages ago!

Viewers may not be thinking about another issue here as well. Everyone knows that Nelle doesn’t trust Michael. Nelle doesn’t trust anyone in the Quartermaine or Corinthos families, so why not choose a doctor from any practice in Port Charles? Michael and Nell could then go together to get that second opinion.

If viewers balk at that idea, they ought to ask why a second opinion must come from a colleague of Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson). Isn’t Michael’s frustration and Monica’s exasperation with Nelle simply coming from a place of pride? Really, if securing Nelle’s signature is all-important, then Michael needs to get off his high horse and understand that right now, Monica’s prestige is irrelevant!

GH Spoilers – Nelle Benson’s Actions Haven’t Harmed Wiley Cooper Jones

Now, many GH fans might be crying foul, but there is something they, and Michael Corinthos, ought to consider. Nelle may seem totally insane to many. Nelle may seem like she is cold and calculating, and even now she may simply be using Wiley as a tool to manipulate and control others. Nelle may definitely be using her status as Wiley’s biological mother to inflict as much damage as possible on those she hates. All of that may be true.

On the other hand, GH fans ought to mull over the fact that although Nelle might hate Michael, she gave Wiley to Brad on the side of the highway. Nelle could have harmed Wiley. Nelle could have killed Wiley if she had wanted to. Nell could have placed Wiley’s dead body in Michael’s arms for real.
Yet, Nelle didn’t do that!

General Hospital Spoilers – Nelle Benson Needs a Fair Shake

Right now, things are coming down to the wire for Michael, Nelle, and Wiley. Michael and Nelle’s custody hearing is just around the corner and now Wiley’s health is at stake. A difference of opinion on elective surgery isn’t something to freak out over. Some GH fans might agree that perhaps Michael ought to take a brief step back and examine all the options. Maybe Michael should cut Nelle a small break and look at the entire situation through a fair and balanced lens.

That’s what good parents do.

Moreover, viewers should also consider the fact that even if Michael works with Nelle grudgingly on this issue, an attempt at compromise with Nelle can only be viewed favorably in court!

Yes I do!! My youngest daughter had to have open heart surgery at 4 and then pain she went through was heartbreaking. My daughter also had a pacemaker put in at 6 days old then again at 2 ,4,10 and 16. She went through so much that she wanted no more surgeries and passed away at the age of 23 leaving 2 small sons. She couldn’t take it anymore. So I understand completely.
