General Hospital Spoilers – Nelle Benson And Nina Reeves Fantasize

GH fans know that not that long ago, Nina came out of her office and spoke with Nelle. There, the two women started talking about the fantasy of having a simple wooden swing, hanging from a tree.

Nina told Nelle that she’d never had a simple swing like that, but that to make up for it, her parents had gotten her an elaborate swing set at their place in the Hamptons. For Nina, it wasn’t about the swing though. As Nina told Nelle, it was actually all about what the swing represented. To Nina, the swing represented a family that was cozy, happy, and loving.

Of course, viewers know that after Nina confessed the fantasy she’d dreamed up for herself as a child, Nelle got in on the action. She too, Nelle told Nina, had always wanted that kind of picture-perfect family and life. However, Nelle lived on the other side of the fantasy. She told Nina that she and her dad moved around a lot and lived in a bunch of crap rentals. All of these condos had sunbaked play areas, Nelle told Nina. They were nothing like what Nelle had ever dreamed about.

According to Nelle, she had never gotten her fairy tale. On the other hand, an apparently determined Nelle told Nina that she would be making certain that Wiley got his.

GH Spoilers Update – Nelle Benson’s New Colors

Now, GH fans know that if Nelle was telling Nina remotely the truth, then she’s turned a complete 180. Many viewers have to be asking themselves how likely it is that a woman like Nelle might change in an instant. How probably is it that Nelle would be a sociopathic monster who is only concerned with what’s best for herself, and a saintly mother who only cares about what’s best for her son, in the space of just a few days?

The truth is that most people don’t change unless something shocking or traumatic snaps them out of their mental, emotional, and spiritual routines. Therefore, GH viewers are right to be suspicious of everything Nelle told Nina … and with good reason. Nobody’s really seen Nelle go through any kind of “Come to Jesus” moment!

Still, what if Nelle’s changed? Apparently, Nina thought there was enough promise in what Nelle told her that she felt she wasn’t wasting her breath to suggest that Nina take a compromise with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) if one was offered to her.

General Hospital Spoilers 2020 – Nelle Benson Wants to Co-Parent

While GH fans watched Nelle become sickeningly sweet while talking to Nina, it’s theoretically possible that even if she isn’t a hundred percent Miss Goody Two Shoes now, she might still wish to avoid a fight she’s not guaranteed to win. If that’s the case, then Nelle might take Nina’s advice to accept a compromise with Michael if the opportunity presents itself.

It’s worth noting that a lot of fans want to see Nelle lose to Michael in a big way. However, Michael’s got a lot of skeletons in his closet. If Nelle really has turned a page and is working to make herself a better person, it might actually be in Wiley’s interest to allow both birth parents access to him over the course of his childhood.
