General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, July 22, tease that some great action’s coming up in the ABC’s next encore. GH will take us back to May 11, 2020, which brought several big decisions in Port Charles. General Hospital fans may want to rewatch all the drama, so here’s what you can expect in this fun repeat.
At the PCPD, Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) in the interrogation room talking to Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) over the phone. After Brook Lynn explains she needs her dad to come to bail her out, Ned hangs up on her. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) eventually decides he’ll give Brook Lynn another phone call – just to see who might help her.
General Hospital Spoilers – Brook Lynn Quartermaine Is Frustrated
Brook Lynn grows frustrated after she gets Dustin Phillips’ (Mark Lawson) voicemail. Chase taunts Brook Lynn by asking if she’s run out of people to call, so she hurls insults. Brook Lynn admits to having a big mouth, but at least she’s not a “lying jerk” like Chase. The detective concedes that Brook Lynn’s right, but that doesn’t change the fact that she’ll either get bailed out or spend the night in lockup.
At Charlie’s Pub, Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) arrives to give Julian Jerome (William deVry) an offer she calls generous and from the heart. Nelle works the victim angle and suggests Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) hurt Julian, too. She’s hoping Julian will testify on her behalf in exchange for a spot in Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Erik and Theo Olson) life.
GH Spoilers – Nelle Benson Is Heartless
Julian suggests that if he did testify, he’d inform the judge that Nelle’s a heartless monster who uses her son as a weapon. After Julian gets a phone call, he considers turning down a request. However, Julian ultimately promises he’ll come and uses this opportunity to make his Nelle escape.
Later, Brook Lynn assures Julian she’ll pay him back for bailing her out. Julian suggests the only reason he came was that Brook Lynn stopped him from throttling someone. Back with Nelle, she spots Chase at Charlie’s Pub and offers him a drink. Chase doesn’t think it’s wise for anybody to accept one from Nelle – not without a toxicology report.
Nelle mentions their mutual single status and contends that maybe she’ll give Chase another chance. Chase thinks Nelle’s delusional, but she insists she always gets what she wants. Nelle argues that if she wants Chase, she’ll get him.
Later, Nelle eavesdrops on Brook Lynn and Julian’s conversation. Brook Lynn suggests that as long as Julian can do the occasional favor for her, she won’t tell Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about Julian cutting the brakes on Brad’s car and causing the crash. Just like that, Nelle’s got some blackmail material!
General Hospital Spoilers – Hamilton Finn’s Offer
Over with Chase again, he turns down Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) offer to meet at The Floating Rib for a beer. Finn surprises Chase by bringing a six-pack down to the pier instead. Chase toasts to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and talks about how he’ll always love her. However, Chase had to let Willow go; that was how he needed to show his love.
Finn still doesn’t agree with Chase’s plan, but he’s there for his brother. Chase wants some alone time, but he accepts a hug from Finn first. Across town, Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy) coaches Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) on how to handle Nelle in court. Once Diane’s gone, Michael brings up the idea of marriage and contends that they could make it work.
GH Spoilers – Willow Tait Loves Harrison Chase Still
Willow points out that she still loves Chase and wonders if Michael will be OK with having a wife who’ll probably never love him. Michael keeps the focus on Wiley, but he admits that marrying into the Corinthos clan and Quartermaine family will bring some changes to Willow’s life.

Although Michael and Willow aren’t in love with each other, Michael argues that it would still be a marriage based on love. Wiley loves them, and they love Wiley right back. Michael and Willow also love each other as friends, so Michael truly believes this arrangement will work. Willow decides this is the future Wiley deserves and agrees to marry Michael before the hearing.
