Nelle hasn’t really even been in prison for very long, especially given the magnitude of her crimes. Also, as her attorney, Martin Gray (Michael E Knight), pointed out, Nelle hadn’t even taken responsibility for her actions. So she attempted to do that during her hearing She did try to do just that but the parole board didn’t think she was ready. So it seems Nelle will remain exactly where she belongs for another eighteen months. Or will she?
Since she won’t be getting out the legal way, look for Nelle to already have a backup plan in place. She has been extremely chummy with serial killer Ryan Chamberlain ( Jon Lindstrom), even going as far as to refer to them as “Kindred spirits”.
General Hospital Spoilers – Ryan Chamberlain Has His Own Issues In Prison
And Ryan is having his own issues in prison, he just murdered his new cell mate for making sexual remarks about Ave Jerome (Maura West). This repercussions of his actions will likely include removal of letter writing privileges and possibly taking away his pinup of Ava from her recent Crimson cover shoot.
Ryan won’t like being cut off completely from Ava, so he will definitely be ready to break out. And Nelle doesn’t want to be apart from Wiley any longer, which means she will most likely make a beeline for her son and reveal the truth about the baby swap to anyone who will listen! She won’t want to cause that type of mayhem from a prison call, so look for Ryan and Nelle to agree that it’s time to splt.
Nelle does seem to be able to move about pretty freely in the prison, most likely because of the volunteer work and good behavior she exhibited during her time there so far. So the two of them have most likely had plenty of time to plan something, or at least talk about how they would do it.
General Hospital Spoilers – Nelle Benson To Double-Cross Ryan Chamberlain?
But one has to wonder if Nelle really plans to let Ryan escape with her or is there a double-cross on her mind? He’s extremely dangerous and completely unpredictable, so Nelle might plan on betraying her so called partner and leave him to rot in Pentonville.
Nelle is a lot of things, even a murderer, but it’s doubtful she would truly help someone as violent as Ryan go free. But Nelle should be very careful how she plays this, because Ryan won’t take likely to betrayal. What do you think? Will Nelle and Ryan grow fed up with Pentonville and finally make their escape together? Or Is Nelle planning on betraying Ryan, and just using him for her own ends?
