GH fans know that Nelle recently met up with Michael and the conversation between the two didn’t go well. Now Michael is frustrated and committed to defeating Nelle, but the question is … will he?

General Hospital Spoilers 2020 – Nelle Benson And Michael Corinthos Argue

GH fans watched as an upset Michael decided to head out of his mom’s house and go for a run to clear his head. Of course, viewers know that it wasn’t long before the dastardly Nelle Benson came upon Michael as he was doing some stretches. There, Nelle tried to put on the image of a parent trying to make peace with her ex before an important child custody hearing.

In fact, Nelle actually did sound a bit reasonable to some GH viewers. Although no one truly believes that Nelle wants peace with Michael and there is likely some catch to any offer she might make, some felt Nelle’s offer this time wasn’t so bad.

What was Nelle’s offer to Michael exactly? Well, Nelle would be willing to drop her lawsuit against General Hospital for medical malpractice, which named Michael’s two grandmothers as key defendants if Michael would simply agree to a co-parenting arrangement.

GH fans know that Michael essentially spits in Nelle’s face at that point. Viewers know that Michael got real angry, real fast and he might have given Nelle some significant ammunition, which she could hand over to her lawyers.

GH Spoilers Rumors – Nelle Benson Uses Michael Corinthos’ Behavior Against Him

Now, while Nelle wasn’t wearing a wire, or using her cellphone to record her conversation with Michael (that anyone is aware of), Michael didn’t know that. He allowed Nelle to goad him into anger and he said things he probably shouldn’t.

Many GH fans wondered where Michael’s head was at. Surely, he understands that Nelle could try to portray him as some kind of hotheaded jerk who couldn’t be trusted with the safety of Wiley Cooper-Jones (Erik and Theo Olson). After all, if Michael couldn’t be civil to Nelle when she was being civil, then that suggests a behavioral problem on Michael’s part, doesn’t it?

Moreover, General Hospital spoilers show Nelle could have her lawyers argue that if Michael was willing to yell and scream at her when he thought no one was watching, mightn’t he also yell and scream or otherwise abuse Wiley when he feels no one can see?

The truth is, Michael should have cut off the conversation if he felt he was becoming too angry. He should have cut it off and walked away from Nelle. Viewers could tell after Michael’s conversation with Nelle that he understood this too. At least Michael was aware, when all was said and done, that he’d made a strategic error in his behavior.

GH Spoilers 2020 – Nelle Benson Gets Custody Of Wiley Cooper-Jones

Now, GH fans know that Nelle threatened Michael at the end of their conversation. She told Michael that he was going to be very sorry that he had chosen to respond to her in the way that he had. She told Michael that things didn’t have to end this way, and now that they had, he was going to be very sorry.

Some have wondered what Nelle might have meant. What leverage does Nelle have against Michael? What consequences could Nelle make Michael face?

Well, while she might have made Michael feel afraid that she had carried some kind of hidden recording device and caught him behaving badly, the truth is … Nelle might be able to use Chase and Sasha against him. That’s particularly true if Michael actually marries Willow Tait.

If Nelle can show that Michael married Willow at the last minute (down to the wire) in a ploy to beat her in court, the judge might just award custody to her then

      I think that she could get joint custody, and I would worry that she would skip town with Wiley and just disappear!
