General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of Monday, June 12-Friday, June 16 tease new beginnings, deadly fears, and hidden truths.  Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) celebrates his birthday and a new beginning as a father, the Quartermaines deal with deadly fears, and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) fears hidden truths will be exposed.

General Hospital Spoilers: New Beginnings

At the Metro Court pool, where earlier, tragedy struck as Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) fell in the pool, Curtis celebrates his birthday. Marshall Ashford, (Robert Gossett) Stella Henry, (Vernee Watson) Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) are there and by the end of the party, Trina and Curtis will form a connection. This will be a new beginning for Curtis and Trina, and perhaps a new beginning for Curtis and Portia as well.

For the Ashford-Robinson family, things appear to be looking up and everyone is happy, toasting, and celebrating. For another family in Port Charles, not so much as they deal with deadly fears.

GH Spoilers: Deadly Fears

Meanwhile, the majority of the Quartermaine family are at General Hospital, where Ned is in serious condition and still unconscious in the ICU, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) having updated the family. Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) cries and  prays for Ned to wake up as Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) looks at her unconscious father through the window of the room.

Meanwhile, at the Quartermaine stables, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) tries to comfort a frightened and crying Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda) who likely doesn’t understand what happened to his adoptive father. It may take a few days, but it looks like Ned does indeed wake up; but there is a possibility he may not remember what happened in the days prior.

A new neurologist, Dr. Montague (Darin Toonder) will be attending to Ned’s serious issues, likely a traumatic brain injury since there is swelling of the brain.

General Hospital Spoilers: Hidden Truths

In the meantime, Nina, confronted by Ned shortly before he rushed off to tell his mother and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) she called the SEC and fell in the pool, panics. She vents to good friend Ava Jerome (Maura West) that the second Ned wakes up, he’s going to spill everything-he’d overheard Nina and Martin Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) discussion.

Nina worries over what that would mean for her engagement to Sonny Corinthos, (Maurice Benard) and takes off her engagement ring; Sonny says maybe Ned will start telling everybody the truth.

That’s exactly what Nina is afraid that Ned will do when he wakes up, and she looks like she’s going to cry. Elsewhere, Drew updates Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and she asks him if he found something-something to get them out of the insider trading charges!
