ABC General Hospital spoilers show that Real Andrew’s (Marcus Taggert) fans have expressed concerns in recent days about the actor’s health. His role is being temporarily portrayed by another actor, Asante Jones. There were no deets given about the switch up and fans’ minds went into overdrive thinking the worst.
That’s because Real is a cancer survivor. There had been no word about his medical status and many jumped to the conclusion that perhaps he had a relapse. The worrying speculation was growing to the point that Real took action to calm the waters and give clarity into his situation.
General Hospital Spoilers – Real Andrews Is A Cancer Survivor
He posted an Instagram video in which he explained his situation. Real said he is fine, he is cancer-free and he has never been in better health—fans can let out a huge sign of relief! He said he heard and saw the rising speculation and wanted to end the mystery. He didn’t want his fans worried about him and wanted to set the record straight.
The video is adorable because his cute white dog Diamond is with him and can’t help licking his dad’s head while he talks!

GH Spoilers – Real Andrews’ Fans Were Worried About Him
His fans were clearly relieved to hear the good news from Real himself. One wrote, “This is wonderful news. Missing you on GH. Love Diamond. Can’t wait till your back on GH.”
Another posted, “I’m so sad that it wasn’t you on the screen when Trina found out her dad was alive. That was a total disappointment. Hope you come back to GH soon.”
And one fan wrote: “I’m so happy to hear you are cancer free!! God bless you. !! You are one of my favs on General Hospital . Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!”

General Hospital Spoilers – What Is Next For Marcus Taggert In Port Charles?
Taggert was supposed to be dead but it’s kind of hard to convince people of that when they’ve seen the hulking, handsome man stalking around Port Charles. One by one people started spotting Taggert, once dressed in a Halloween costume, once disguised as a doctor and the list goes on.
Last week the gig was up and the scheme was finally over. Taggert is in jail and he and his coconspirators have a lot of explaining to do. Part of the early fallout seems to be the possible break up of Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
