General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas and Ava Love Match – Next GH Super Couple?

General Hospital spoilers tease that GH might be getting fans ready for an Nikolas Cassadine/Ava Jerome (Marcus Coloma, Maura West) love match in future episodes of GH!

General Hospital Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine Was Trying To Kiss Ava Jerome When She Fainted In His Arms

Many viewers noticed that on the Halloween episode, when Nikolas unmasked himself for Ava and he approached her, it looked like he was going to kiss her but then she fainted in his arms and he wound up kissing the top of her head instead of her lips! When he was snooping around he also took a long look at her, as well as his mother Laura Collins (Genie Francis) when she and Ava were talking. It also seems like the writers are developing a deep friendship between Laura and Ava, and Laura’s concern for Ava seems similar to a mother’s concern for a daughter.

GH Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine And Ava Jerome Bonded Before His Presumed Death

Nikolas and Ava formed a bond before his presumed death, and it seems to be a deep one, going both ways and it is obvious it still exists. Ava has said that Nikolas understood her in a way that others didn’t, even better than what Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) pretended to. Ava was affected deeply by Nikolas, and because of that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was able to come back to Port Charles, Ava having reached out to him in the Boronsky Clinic in Russia when he was still masked and bound as Patient Six because Ava was hoping beyond all hope that he may have been Nikolas!

General Hospital Spoilers – There Is The Little Problem Of A Possibly Legal Marriage That Will Have To Be Dissolved

Before Nikolas and Ava can have a love match storyline, there is that little problem of his marriage to Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) possibly still being legal unless the divorce was taken care of off-screen when Hayden found out he was alive. It is a possibility that she knew all along, and that is why she left Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) at the altar, unless she found out about Nikolas being alive in between when he was presumed dead and when she left Finn.

A death declaration tends to become null and void once the person declared dead shows up alive, and so her marriage to Nik could have still been valid when she was getting ready to marry Finn! Nikolas obviously did not want his survival to come out until he was good and ready to show up alive, and apparently now is that time!

GH Spoilers – Will Laura Collins Have Problems With Nikolas Cassadine Hooking Up With Ava Jerome?

The question comes up if Laura would have problems with her son getting involved with Ava, and that would be probably not, at least not because of any age difference; Ava is 45 and Nik is 41, that’s not that much of a difference. Laura has not been an interfering mother, at least not to the level that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is, but then Laura is not overprotective. The fact that the GH writers have Laura acting like a concerned mother towards Ava is a good hint that a Nikolas/Ava love match in the future is exactly what GH has in mind!
