General Hospital Spoilers: Nikolas’ Big Sacrifice, Gets Himself In Pentonville To Protect Spencer?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will make a big sacrifice, as he worries about his son in Pentonville Prison. He decides to do something to get himself in Pentonville so he can be on the inside and protect Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).

General Hospital Spoilers – A Page From Jason Morgan’s Playbook?

It sounds like Nikolas is taking a page from Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) playbook, who got himself in prison to protect Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Spencer’s charges aren’t nearly as serious as Michael’s were, and his sentence is only three months, but Nikolas wants to prove to his son that he loves him. Nikolas doesn’t intend to stay beyond three months either, but works on figuring out how he can get himself arrested and in the prison quickly for that short amount of time.

Nikolas has plenty of things he’s been guilty of in the past, but isn’t sure how many would garner only three months prison time and a fast moving court system. He made Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) disappear but that would possibly make him a murder suspect and would gain nothing with his son; he adored her.

GH Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine Must Protect His Son

Nikolas knows he must protect his son, and Spencer has to know that he’s the one protecting him. He made so many mistakes that he wants to atone for, and doesn’t know what else he can do besides this grand gesture. Spencer says he has both Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) and Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) protection while he’s behind bars, but Nikolas wants to give that protection the personal touch. After all, there is nothing as strong as a parent’s instinct to protect his or her child, and Nikolas wants to prove his to Spencer. Nikolas dropped that ball when he made the decision to fake his death the second time after he went out the window on Cassadine Island and not tell Spencer.

General Hospital Spoilers – Where There’s A Will

Where there’s a will, there’s a way, and Nikolas is willing to do anything to prove to Spencer he loves his son and wants to make amends. The only thing he won’t do is give up his wife, Ava Cassadine (Maura West) but she might solve that problem herself. It is high time that Spencer lose his grudge against Ava for not helping him get the Cassadine legacy back from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

Valentin has his own legacy from Victor now for what little he considers that to be worth. Nikolas decides to talk to Victor about trying to get “admitted” to Pentonville so he can protect Spencer personally while on the inside.
