General Hospital spoilers reveals Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) has never been a loner. He doesn’t need an entourage, but he’s always looking for a constant companion and someone to act as the ears to unburden him from the trouble he gets himself into. Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) knows this well and uses it to his advantage. More recently, Victor’s interest has been in getting Nikolas to divorce his wife, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), but Nik hasn’t budged. Thus, Victor will continue to look for a weak spot where he can weasel his way into power over Nikolas. Is Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) it?

Nikolas is going to crack soon. The secret is too much to bear. Esme may be having his child. She’s not dead. She’s very much alive and living in the north tower at Wyndemere as his captive. Nikolas needs an ally and he’s going to lean on Victor because he cannot lean on Ava in this case.

Victor will offer condolences and say all the right things to ease Nikolas’ mind. The fair prince will hear everything he wants to hear, by design. Secretly, Victor will plot to use this information against Nikolas. Once this secret is out of the box, there’s no putting it back. Victor won’t be signing up to un-know Esme is alive and carrying a child. What will he do with that inside intel?

GH Spoilers – Indicate Nikolas Cassadine Will Regret Opening His Mouth

Victor hasn’t been able to secure Nikolas’ divorce from Ava — and Ava stands in his way of getting one cent of the Cassadine fortune if Nikolas betrays her. This will complicate matters because if Esme does give birth to Nikolas’ child, and she is alive to testify to having an affair with Nikolas, that’s going to serve as proof he committed adultery and could leave him on the hook for sharing his fortune with his soon-to-be ex-wife.

When Victor tries to strongarm Nikolas into filing divorce papers, Nikolas won’t take it lightly. Will Victor threaten to tell Ava about Esme if he doesn’t? Probably not. But Victor has another tool in his arsenal. Knowing Nikolas won’t want to part with his own fortune, he will try to get him to see that leading Ava to file for divorce on her own while remaining somewhat amicable will only benefit him. Of course, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will be advising Ava to go after every cent at the same time. Nikolas is going to wish he never would’ve opened the door for Victor to meddle in his marriage.

General Hospital Spoilers — Esme Price And Victor Cassadine Team Up

Victor is no dummy. When he learns that Esme is potentially carrying a Cassadine heir, he’s going to capitalize on the opportunity before him. Embracing Esme and conspiring with her to take down Nikolas is the fastest Cassadine cash he could make, and even if the baby isn’t Nikolas’, they can work out those fictitious details later. For now, Nikolas believes there’s a reasonable chance he’s going to have a child with Esme, and that spells money to his uncle.
