General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will be the one accused of turning Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in for insider trading. However, it could turn out that it’s not Nina at all, but Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot)!
General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Swore Revenge
It is true that Nina swore revenge on Carly when she was venting to Ava Jerome (Maura West) for keeping her children from her. She blames Carly fully that she didn’t know Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) was her daughter until after she died, and now for keeping Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) a secret. Carly didn’t know Nelle was Nina’s until after she died either, but she’s known about Willow for months and actively interfered in the search for Willow’s parents.
With Willow still in precarious condition, there is still a lot to worry about, and even if she does survive she may never want a relationship with Nina. Carly, on the other hand, Willow views as practically a saint and readily forgave her for keeping her mother a secret, and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) forgave as well.
GH Spoilers – My, Aren’t Those Two Cozy….
Nina accidentally saw Carly and Drew canoodling in the halls of General Hospital, and remarked how cozy they were with each other. They quickly covered, considering Willow was running out of options since Nina’s genetic markers didn’t allow her to donate bone marrow; and were just comforting each other over Willow’s precarious position.
Nina did have the emotion filled conversation with Ava later, but didn’t say what form her revenge would take, so it could easily be calling the SEC about their romance. Nina knows Carly lost her half of the hotel because of all the Aurora stock she bought and then the IPO didn’t happen – she offered to buy it back for her. But Carly’s being the mother of the co-CEO of Aurora could be considered insider trading as well-helping out her son; and Nina hasn’t turned her in for that.
General Hospital Spoilers – Sounds Like The Work Of Someone Else
Nina may indeed come up with some form of revenge against Carly but it probably wouldn’t be insider trading, or she’d have turned her in over her mother-son relationship. But this does sound like the work of someone else-someone who knows a lot more about money and stocks, namely Tracy! After all, the IPO didn’t happen because Michael and Drew wouldn’t give her son, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) a prestigious position, so he threw in with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Valentin’s playing dead for a while so he couldn’t come to Nina’s defense if Tracy turned ‘Crew’ in and blame shifted it all on Nina! But she and Ned would have sweet revenge, and Ned could swoop in on Aurora in Drew’s absence.
