Nina has to remember that she’s not dating “Mike” from Nixon Falls. This is Sonny the mob boss. It sounds like they will work on things and the relationship starts to move forward.

It is teased that Sonny and Nina will go out on a date. While the date might go smoothly in the beginning, it doesn’t exactly end well. That doesn’t mean Nina and Sonny will call it quits, though. However, it does indicate that there will be some trouble brewing. Sonny isn’t going to be Nina’s biggest problem, though.

General Hospital spoilers for the week of August 15 reveal that Nina will have a violent interaction right after the date. Nina will face off with Sonny’s ex-wife, Carly. Of course, this scene will probably begin with some snarky comments and allegations. However, what makes this showdown different is that it gets physical.

It is teased that Carly and Nina will exchange low blows. With Nina still not knowing that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is her biological daughter, could this slip out when Carly loses control?

GH Spoilers  -An Ending Ahead?

Despite Sonny and Nina having a connection from Nixon Falls, fans don’t want to see these two together. Nina did far too much to prevent Sonny from finding out his true identity. Plus, Nina had several opportunities to end the mourning of Sonny’s loved ones. Each time, Nina put herself ahead of doing the right thing.

Nina buying Carly’s half of the Metro Court has only fanned the flames. Of course, now Carly is hiding that Nina is Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) real mother. Despite all the secrets and hatred, the common denominator in this showdown is Sonny. Things will only continue to escalate between Carly and Nina if Sonny keeps going on this same path.

Sonny might need to put his complicated feelings aside and say goodbye to Nina. However, will he do it or continue to make things worse?
