General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Blabs Willow’s Affair That Never Happened — And Loses Sonny, Who Loses Michael

General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal when Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) first caught a glimpse of Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and T.J. Ashford (Tajh Bellow) in a close embrace, she paused long enough to stare and otherwise shirked it off as nothing. But as the same kind of warm embrace seemed to keep popping up in her peripheral vision, Nina became a little too interested in the private affairs of her grandson’s mother. Should she fail to contain her excitement to blow the lid off of what she thinks is a poorly kept secret, she may pay a price far steeper than she ever imagined.

General Hospital Spoilers — The Real Truth Comes Out

In order to explain away her late hours at the hospital and why Nina thinks Willow and T.J. are having an affair, Willow will have to reveal to Michael that she has been keeping a secret from him, and T.J. does know about it. When Willow tells Michael the truth, it’s going to hit him from multiple sides. Understandably, Willow would expect that Michael would be concerned for her and the baby’s health, but he’s also going to be concerned for the health of his marriage.

How can they go on and bring this baby into a happy home when their trust is so broken? Michael will begin to doubt his relationship with Willow, and Willow will shift the blame for that onto Nina, as much as she logically knows it’s her own fault.

GH Spoilers – Indicates Michael Retaliates

In the time that Willow has known Michael, he’s gone from being a gentle soul she could grieve with to the son of a mobster who is more like his father than he cares to admit. When Michael reacts to Willow’s news lacking empathy and is focused more on who she shared her cancer diagnosis with than the fact that she has cancer, Willow will be stunned at his empty response. Further, Michael won’t just blame Willow, but Nina, too. This won’t be the kind of support Willow is seeking, and she may continue to look for such in T.J.’s arms instead. Michael certainly won’t be ordering a hit on Willow as his father might, but we won’t be surprised if he starts plotting how to gain custody after the baby is born. Michael’s growing anger toward Nina’s inability to stay out of his life just might lead his dad to reevaluate who he spends his time with, too.

General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Corinthos May Take a Break From Nina Reeves

Sonny has been trying desperately to make amends with his eldest son and to no avail. When his girlfriend, Nina, makes a choice that further hinders Michael and Willow’s happiness, Sonny will take it upon himself to address what’s really going on. While he’s certain to offer his support to Willow whether Michael wants her to have it or not, he may also back away from Nina and take some time to cool off and figure out whether he still wants to chase what they had in Nixon Falls.

Eventually, the truth is also going to come out that Willow is Nina’s daughter, and it won’t be easy for these two to find their way to a mother-daughter relationship after all the damage has been done.
