General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will be gutted with a double punch in an upcoming episode of the ABC soap!
She will grieve not only “Not Nathan West” aka Cassius Faison, (Ryan Paevey) but the real Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) all over again!
Liesl And Britt Hadn’t Been Told About Cassius’ Fate
Neither Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) nor Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) had been told about Cassius’ fate on the pier at Spoon Island, as of the episode of Friday, July 3.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) had to drag the news out of Z (John Oliver) and threw Cassius under the bus in a trade deal to free Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
Z claimed that “Faison did not survive his injuries” although as he walked by him he did check his pulse-bypassing the downed Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) entirely.
Josslyn Asks Someone For A Favor
In Monday, July 6th’s GH episode, Josslyn asks someone for a favor-she may request a visit from Nina.
Josslyn kind of almost bonded with her captivity cell roommate Liesl, and with what Z told her about Cassius’ death-which may be questionable-she may want Nina to break it to her.
Liesl knows the truth about “Not Nathan” really being Cassius, and the whole story of that because he told her himself, but she never told Nina, although she did tell Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
No doubt in the back of all their minds is how little James West (Gary James Fuller) will react.
He’ll also eventually learn the man he learned to love as his father not only was his uncle, but now he’s dead too!
Nina Is Gutted
Nina is gutted to find out not only wasn’t “Nathan” “Jay,” her cousin who grew up as her brother, but his identical twin, who her own mother gave to Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).
That will be one gut punch immediately followed by another one, that Cassius Faison is now dead also, shot in the chest like Nathan was-or at least that’s Z’s story.
Now, how is Nina going to tell Liesl her other son is dead too, and who’s going to tell Britt, who’s back in Port Charles, but in a jail cell?
Nina likely will know that Cullum is dead, that being all over the news, and that will be a relief, because that means Jack Brennan (Chris L.McKenna) is safe too.
But her relief in knowing Jack is safe is marred by knowing the man she welcomed back as “Jay” wasn’t Jay at all, and now his twin is dead too-it’s going to be a very rough week for Nina!
