General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Grows Jealous Of The Other Women In Sonny’s Heart

General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) knew a relationship with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) wouldn’t be easy. She didn’t expect it to be anything like being with ‘Mike,’ but she also truly didn’t know what to expect. She never really knew Sonny on a personal level before Nixon Falls, and now that she’s getting to know him, she is realizing a few things she isn’t so keen on.

A big faux pas for her is his adoration and undying love for a few particular women in his life, and well, she’s about done tolerating it.

General Hospital Spoilers — The Mothers Of His Children

Sonny is far from a deadbeat dad. He takes care of his children, and he also takes care of their mothers. All of them know he’s just a phone call away and they can always count on him for backup — sometimes even to break the law on their behalf.

Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has never been keen on asking favors from the organized crime lord, but when push comes to shove, she could never say he wasn’t there for Kristina Davis (Lexi Ainsworth). Alexis wouldn’t have pulled through the time she nearly lost Kristina to Dawn of Day without Sonny and his indispensable resources.

Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) would say much the same, and Nina really hasn’t digested it well how well Sonny and Ava have been getting along recently, nor how often she’d found them getting chummy over matters not related to their child, Avery Corinthos (Grace Scarola). Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) also knows she can call on Sonny any time, though it’s not often needed with the Q name behind her now.

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) certainly takes the cake. Sharing two children with Sonny, and having been married and divorced four times, they will always be in one another’s lives, but Nina can’t stand the way Sonny stays so invested in the wellbeing of his children’s mothers. Perhaps it’s mostly because she knows she will never have that kind of bond with him.

GH Spoilers – Tease It’s Not Just Baby Mamas

Sonny doesn’t just hold the mothers of his children in high regard though. There are other women that he holds dear to his heart. One person Nina isn’t too bothered by is Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson). Sonny’s support of her is really just an extension of his love for his cousins, the late Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), and Brando’s mother Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs).

But Sonny has also gone above and beyond for other women in his life, such as Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Nina is starting to wonder where his undying love for other women stops, and where it begins as it pertains to her?

General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny Corintos Changes For No Woman

Nina hasn’t spoken a word of her concerns to Sonny. Maybe she knows how juvenile and jealous she would sound. Perhaps she just doesn’t want to rock the boat. Besides, Sonny has never claimed to be anything less than a family man — and he often operates as a ladies’ man under that guise.

As Nina starts to see him more as a man chasing validation for his savior complex, will she start to lose adoration for the charms she thought he only deployed on her that she now sees he shares with so many others?

If she does, it may not be worth mentioning to him because she already knows Sonny is set in his ways and not about to change his friendships or the way he treats the people he loves just to make Nina more comfortable with her own insecurities. This relationship sounds more done by the day.

I certainly hope you are right. If you insist on keeping Nina then think up someone else’s life to ruin … somewhere far away.

Sonny changing for no woman is a questionable statement. Sonny certainly changed his whole life and connection with his family for a so called relationship with Nina so what the heck does she have to complain about. Perhaps it’s because she knows their relationship is not based on truth and just the result of having a fantasy relationship with a man who had lost his memory. In a real world, a Nina/Sonny relationship could never prosper. It is almost as the two are from different sides of the track. Time for this fantasy to end and allow Sonny to be himself with a hint of Mike he always has had, but not evidenced too often.

I could see Nina turning Kristina into a Carly hater by telling her Carly was the one who kept her from being more a part of his life…pushing him to have her daughter deliver Kristina’s grandfathers eulogy and having no contact with her after her fathers supposed death.
