General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Is Bonding With The Corinthos Clan Just In Time To Demolish Them

General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is over the moon to now be Mrs. Sonny Corinthos, but she has no idea what awaits her back in Port Charles. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) never could have imagined when he reached out to his contact at the SEC that they would be telling him his new stepmommy is the culprit of all the horrible things that have befallen his family in recent months.

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) nearly lost his life recently because he’s in prison serving time — all because of Nina being unable to resist nosing around in Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) business.

Now, Michael is readying himself to tell his dad, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), the truth — and we have no doubt Nina isn’t going to handle it well.

Nina won’t be back from Puerto Rico but for a minute before Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) gives her a stern warning that Michael has blown their charade to bits. Finding out that he knows the truth is going to keep Nina on her toes wondering why he hasn’t revealed it yet.

Could she play on his love for Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and negotiate some kind of peace offering? It’s not likely that he would accept it, and this may lead Nina to have to come clean.

GH Spoilers – Hint There Will Be No Bargaining

The last thing Michael wants is to be the bad guy. He doesn’t want to hurt his wife or his father with this news. Everyone is so happy now that there is finally some semblance of peace in the family.

Hanging onto the truth won’t do him any favors with his mother either. Nina knows Michael won’t keep her secret forever and that’s why she will have to tell Sonny what she’s done all on her own. Confessing to him just after he had married her was not what she had planned.

Departing again from the criminal and callous character we’ve come to know him as over the years, the softer version of Sonny is going to need some time to process what he’s just learned.

His wife has betrayed him — and she knew she did long before they ever said their vows. Will time apart from Nina help Sonny to decide he needs to stand with his family against her, or is he just trying to buy time as he learns to understand her position once again?
