General Hospital Spoilers tease Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is never without hope. She has survived failed marriages, the death of her “brother,” Nathan West (Ryan Paevey), the loss of her daughter — repeatedly, and now she is faced with the potential loss of yet another child she never knew she had who was within reach of her all along.
It took time and some pretty convincing arguments from Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) for Nina to wrap her head around the idea that Willow is her child — and that she had twins to begin with. Although Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is going to insist that knowing Nina is her birth mother doesn’t change anything for her, Nina will secretly hope her bone marrow donation and saving Willow’s life scores her brownie points down the road.
General Hospital Spoilers — “I Still Don’t Like the Person You Are”
When Nina breaks the news to Willow that she is her mother, Willow isn’t going to welcome her with open arms. In fact, her initial reaction is going to be something similar to her birth mom’s — that she doesn’t believe her and thinks she has an agenda in making this up.
She might swiftly try to dismiss Nina out of belief that she is only trying to get Willow worked up all over again — which wouldn’t be a good look for Nina given that Willow collapsed not once, but twice, due to emotional upset over Nina. Willow might come around to accepting that Nina is her birth mom when Michael Corinthos (Chad Deull) signals that it’s true, but she’s going to make damn sure that Nina knows she doesn’t see her any differently and still doesn’t like the person Nina is.
GH Spoilers – Suggest Nina Reeves Will Hold Out Hope
Nina will hear Willow loud and clear, but she’s still going to hold out hope for a reconciliation. Realistically, Nina also has many things she doesn’t care for about Willow that they would need to work through. They’ve said a lot of crass and hurtful things to one another while fighting over Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver).
Nina will remain hopeful that being Wiley’s grandmother and Willow’s mother could serve to mend these broken fences someday. However, that’s exactly the mindset Willow will accuse Nina of having and will insist is never going to happen. Willow might accept Nina’s bone marrow donation, but she won’t do so feeling she owes her anything in return.
General Hospital Spoilers — Willow Tait’s Life Is What Matters
Nina gave Willow life in the first place. She’s not about to watch the bonus daughter she didn’t know she had wither away and meet her maker. She lost one daughter before knowing she was even her child, and this time around, Nina sees it as an opportunity to do the right thing right out of the gate and support her child the way she wishes she could have loved and supported Nelle Bensone Jerome (Chloe Lanier). Will Nina save Willow’s life? If she does, will Willow end up feeling any differently about her than she does now? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead to find out.
