General Hospital Spoilers: Nina & Valentin’s New Alliance Aims To Nail Brennan To The Wall?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of April 13-17 hint that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) could form an alliance to nail Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) to the wall.

As it seems, Valentin is about to reveal himself to Nina in the days ahead. What’s the purpose of this move, and what happens next?

Valentin Cassadine Trusts Nina Reeves

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that despite being exes, Valentin trusts Nina, and she trusts him.

Sure, circumstances may seem otherwise, but Nina does love Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) like a daughter, and it’s been killing her that she had to use the teen girl to protect Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen).

As fans know, Brennan erased that street surveillance footage linking Willow to the scene of the crime the night Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) got shot. Brennan did this, as Nina agreed to gather intel on Valentin’s whereabouts.

She’s yet to produce any information to the WSB agent, so Brennan threatened that he would ensure the footage resurfaces if Nina failed this request. The lack of video is a major piece of evidence that could’ve swayed Willow’s verdict.

Willow wouldn’t be tried again because of the double-jeopardy rule; however, she’d likely lose her seat in Congress and her kids if it re-emerged.

This is why Nina threatened to go to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) recently with what Brennan did and how he “helped” Nina and Willow.

After all, if Willow ended up in prison, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) would remain the sole guardian of both their kids. As such, Brennan backed down, but he’s likely strategizing another way to get back at Nina.

During the GH preview, Nina is shown walking into a room where Valentin is. Nina is genuinely stunned, while Valentin looks as if he were expecting her. Why would he reveal himself to his ex, unless he was looking to align with her?

Valentin Feels Betrayed

With that said, Valentin has an alliance with Carly, but last week, the blonde seemed to waver on what she was doing. Brennan arrived at her home with intel on where the WSB was holding Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

Brennan told Carly that he had placed his job on the line to secure this information, and Carly felt very torn about what she was doing.

Despite all the lies he’s told in the past, Carly believes Brennan loves her. Valentin was disgusted that Carly jumped back in bed with Brennan, and he also started to question her loyalty.

Is this new alliance with Nina not only a way to bury Brennan, but also to get back at Carly? Either way, Valentin is ensuring he has a plan B, just in case Carly flakes out on him.
