General Hospital Spoilers: Nina’s Divorce Paves The Way For A Gift From Valentin

General Hospital spoilers tease Ava Jerome (Maura West) is working her magic on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to covertly make him feel like she’s the only person left in his corner after nearly everyone he ever cared about has turned their back on him.

While well-intentioned friends — like Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) — might stop by to check in on him, Sonny can still feel their overbearing presence as they try to persuade him to give his family another chance or see their side of things. It doesn’t look like Sonny will be thinking clearly as long as he’s not properly medicated.

To add insult to injury, Ava is now aware that Sonny’s meds aren’t being filled correctly, although she’s withholding that information from him.

She’s been successful at alienating him from his family — including his soon-to-be ex-wife, Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros), who has just signed the divorce papers. But will Nina make good on her threat to tell Sonny the truth about Ava, and why is she giving up on her marriage when she has leverage over Ava?

Nina thought she was sealing the deal for herself when she forked the Metro Court Hotel over and back into Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) hands. While Sonny isn’t exactly cheering for Carly right now, he isn’t trying to hurt her either.

Nina knew when she watched it all go down in the hotel restaurant that she had fallen for Ava’s bait and given her just what she wanted.

Further making herself look like the bad guy in Sonny’s eyes, Ava gets to be the one to go home with him and coddle him as he licks his wounds. But just because Ava plays dirty doesn’t mean Nina won’t stoop lower and meet her at her level.

GH Spoilers – Claim Nina Reeves Could Give It Right Back To Her

Nina knows how to play hardball. Right now, she may not be able to see through the tears in her eyes, but soon, she’ll find the leverage she needs again to make Ava pay for what she’s done.

Nina could run to tell Sonny that Ava knew what she did all along — and nudged her along in making the decision to turn Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in to the SEC for insider trading — but she may also sit on that information until she can compound it with more evidence against Ava.

With the medication mishap in full swing — even though it’s not Ava’s doing — Nina just might end up with more leverage than she ever could have hoped for to oust Ava from Sonny’s life.

General Hospital Spoilers — A Reckoning Is Coming

Rumor has it Nina is finally going to exercise enough patience to play the long game and be more strategic about her efforts to get her husband back.

She may have to go through this divorce in the meantime, and even watch the love of her life move on with her former bestie, but word on the street is she’s going to receive the gift of the truth.

Could that come by way of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart)? Will he clue Nina in on what he’s been doing — or at the very least point her in the right direction so she finds out the truth about Sonny’s meds?

If so, Nina could feasibly pin the whole thing on Ava — who would have no defense! Would saving Sonny from Ava’s clutches and lies earn Nina the spot back in his bed? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
