General Hospital Spoilers – Dead Man Walking
GH spoilers reveal that everyone in Port Charles believes that Sonny is dead. They had his funeral and his loved ones have adjusted to living without him. The exception to that would be Sonny’s wife, Carly. She’s surviving in her own way but barely. Not only is she taking huge risks, but is taking everything to such wild extremes. She is also still grieving and recently, she saw her “ghost” hubby standing in front of her.
When Nina left Port Charles, she decided to stop in Nixon Falls. She caught Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) upon the situation with Carly and Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson). Nina was going to continue driving but Phyllis encouraged her to stick around. A few minutes later, Nina was shocked to be looking right at Sonny, who now goes by the name Mike.
GH Spoilers – True Identity Kept Hidden
Nina was visibly shocked when she saw Sonny. In fact, the saying “you look like you’ve seen a ghost” fits Nina’s facial expression perfectly. She could have told Sonny about his true identity and that he has family back in Port Charles. However, she didn’t do that. Instead, she made a call to Carly. She intended on telling Carly that Sonny isn’t dead but never got the words out. Carly was too busy issuing warnings and threats to actually stop and find out why Nina would be calling her. So, Nina decided to keep the information to herself for the time being.

General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Motivations
General Hospital spoilers reveal that it seemed Nina was motivated by revenge. Not only did Carly leave Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) to die without lifting a finger, there is a battle over Nina’s grandson. Nelle might have been a pretty extreme and diabolical villain, but she was also the daughter that Nina never got to know. So, Wiley is Nina’s only link to her dead daughter.
Some fans noted that Nina planned on telling Carly about her not-so-dead husband before she spewed out an extremely long verbal tirade. However, Watros told Soap Opera Digest that Nina isn’t keeping Sonny from Carly out of revenge.
GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Flourishing
The actress explained that Nina is seeing a different kind of Sonny Corinthos. Even though some aspects of his personality remain the same, there are also some changes. Nina is seeing Sonny flourishing not knowing who he is or where he’s from.

“It’s not like all of a sudden she was like, ‘I’m going to get revenge on Carly!’ she opines. It’s more like, ‘Okay, I’m going to sit on this, and I don’t know what’s going to happen… she’s seeing this freedom in ‘Mike’, this sort of relaxed, happy, carefree man that is enjoying his life. She sees this man who is flourishing in a way she’s never seen him flourish before and she thinks, ‘Maybe this is what he needs. Maybe this is like a gift for him.’”
However, Sonny should really be the one to make that decision. He did mention feeling like his past wasn’t something he would go running back to. He’s content with the life he is leading right now. With that being said, Sonny deserves to know the truth. What he does with it — whether it’s returning home or continuing to live in Nixon Falls as “Mike” is up to him.
General Hospital Spoilers – What Happens If Memories Return?
If Sonny does regain his memories, that doesn’t mean he will be the same as before. He will have all the memories of the old Sonny but then there are the new experiences he had as “Mike.” He could seem too different for some relationships to survive, such as his marriage to Carly. As for his new connections, Nina’s relationships with Sonny and “Mike” are completely different. So, what happens when those two “lives” or “worlds” collide? It seems like this recipe will bring familiarities and changes to Sonny that could be quite interesting.
