General Hospital Spoilers: No Jury Trial For Sam – Fate In Hands Of Judge, Is She Headed To Prison?

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco)

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease after some discussion, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) have decided that Sam will forego a jury trial in favor of just having the judge decide her guilt or innocence. There are several pros and cons to this decision. Most important to Sam is that the trial will happen much more quickly, and Sam is anxious to get back to her kids. Her time in Pentonville is already starting to take a toll!

General Hospital Spoilers – But Jason Morgan mentions that now one person is going to make the decision.

Jason’s main argument for keeping a jury is that without one, Sam’s entire fate is in one person’s hands. If he doesn’t believe Sam and Jason and their testimony, then that’s all there is to it. And since someone has been framing Sam up until now, it will be much easier to convince one person, than a jury of twelve. As viewers know, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is behind the frame up.

David Henry Archer aka Shiloh (Coby Ryan MacLaughjlin) had begun blackmailing Peter with the knowledge that Peter was completely complicit with kidnapping Drew Cain (Billy Miller) and keeping Jason prisoner for five years in Russia. Peter has always maintained that his involvement was minimal and that he was coerced by his father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). But as flashback reveal, Peter was working hand in hand with Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) when they kidnapped Drew.

GH Spoilers – Peter August has a lot to lose

Peter has built himself a very fragile house of cards that seems to failing apart even as he is building it. For every problem he resolves, another seems to pop up. And Peter may not even realize it just yet, but he is becoming increasingly violent. It’s likely that Peter will continue to make sure Sam in found guilt. And the fact there is no longer a jury deciding the case may give Peter his next idea. He will attempt to influence the just, who he will attempt tp manipulate with bribery or blackmail.

General Hospital Spoilers – What do you think?

Do you think that Sam made the right call by not having a just trial? Will Peter find a way to influence the judge, and make sure Sam stays in Pentonville? And is he becoming more and more dangerous. I think that this whole situation with Sam being framed by Peter is just illogical. If Peter really wanted Jason to leave him alone then Sam being free and with Jason is what would make more sense. I find it to be really illogical that they have had Peter go after Sam because it puts a target on him telling Jason to go after him. I just want this whole situation to be over with. I want Sam to be with Jason. I want Peter to get back on a better path which he never should have been taken off of in the first place.
