General Hospital Spoilers: Obrecht Cornered – Cullum’s Next Move Could Be Deadly

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) has now kidnapped Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) in an effort to force her to finish the cold fusion project.

No doubt that Liesl will not finish this project willingly, and especially not when she realizes this is what Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was forced to work on, and ran away from!

Britt Was Blackmailed With Experimental Huntington’s Disease Medication

General Hospital fans will recall Britt was blackmailed with experimental Huntington’s Disease medication to work on her father, Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) last project.

It is in the prototype stage, involves cold fusion, and is a powerful weapon the WSB wants to get their hands on-or, at least the corrupt portion of the WSB, namely Cullum!

When Cullum couldn’t track down Britt and his shooter, Rocco Falconeri, (Finn Carr) he realized Britt needed to be replaced-and, who better than her mother, who chased after Faison for years!

Liesl’s reputation precedes her, she was involved with Cesar’s projects for years-Cullum figures that she may already know about the weapon, although she didn’t complete it herself.

Cullum Will Likely Gaslight Liesl Although He Won’t Brainwash Her-He Needs Her Brain To Work!

Cullum will likely gaslight Liesl, although he won’t brainwash her-he needs her brain to work, after all!

He probably knows all about several years ago when Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) kidnapped her, keeping her in a cell on Cassadine Island in Greece.

He’ll likely take advantage of that history and use it to gaslight her, and force her to work for him completing the cold fusion project by blackmailing her.

The question is, how far will he go to blackmail her-for one, he could gaslight her into believing he has Britt and Rocco captive somewhere, and they’ll die if she doesn’t cooperate!

But that’s not all he can threaten her with-after all, she still has family there in Port Charles; a “resurrected” son and a grandson!

Liesl’s Grandson Is With His Mother Out West, But Cullum Has Operatives Everywhere!

Liesl’s grandson James West (Gary James Fuller) is with his mother and sisters out west, but Cullum has operatives everywhere; the Grand Canyon poses no challenge!

But she also has a son who she believes to be Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) back from the dead-and if he serves Cullum’s purpose to blackmail his mother, he’ll use Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey).

However, the gaslighting Liesl over having Britt and Rocco captive somewhere, and the mere  implication of knowing James’ current location should be enough.

And if that doesn’t work, he’s got a readymade example of what will happen to Liesl’s loved ones if she doesn’t cooperate.

Because of that, Liesl’s cellmate Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) days may be numbered! Be sure to catch up on everything happening with GH right now.
