General Hospital Spoilers: Obrecht Decides To Get Close To Cyrus To Take Him Down!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) has mentioned how dangerous Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is when talking to her mother, Dr. Leisl O’Brecht (Kathleen Gati). But Dr. O’s time and attention have been consumed with destroying Peter August (Wes Ramsey) that she barely seemed to even a clue what Britt had been trying to tell her. But everything changed when Britt called her mother out of the blue and warned her that she might be in danger if Cyrus decides to target people that Britt is close to.

General Hospital Spoilers – Leisl O’Brecht currently believes that Jason Morgan took Britt Westbourne hostage!

The police seem to be under the impression that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) took Britt hostage when he was escaping police captivity in General Hospital. But that isn’t the truth. Britt was about to be killed by Cyrus’s men, and Jason got there just in time to save her and take her with him so Cyrus couldn’t try again. But Leisl has already remembered a conversation where Britt outlined that she was in no danger from Jason and that Cyrus was the real problem. Leisl won’t be able to resist finding out what makes Cyrus tick for herself., and if he hurt even a hair on Britt’s head he won’t even see her coming.

GH Spoilers – Cyrus Renault is used to a certain type of adversary, but he has no idea what he is in for with Leisl O’Brecht!

It would make sense for Leisl to introduce herself as Britt’s mother to Cyrus. He’s still chairman of the board at General Hospital and if Britt is missing for any length of time, someone will at least have to come in temporarily to do the tasks that can’t wait. That’s where Leisl will find an opening. She has been Chief of Staff at General Hospital before, so she might offer her services. But Leisl is only interested in finding out whatever she can about Cyrus and the way he operates.

She can watch him unnoticed if she’s already at General Hospital. Cyrus is actually in for quite a surprise if Leisl decides that Cyrus is to blame for Britt’s disappearance. Leisl isn’t a typical mob boss, she deals with spies and intrigue and espionage. Those are not qualities that Cyrus is used to facing, so even as she studies him for his weaknesses, she will strike as soon as she can and she won’t even give any indication that it’s coming. Of all the people in Port Charles, Leisl O’Brecht may the most qualified to bring Cyrus to justice, and that’s exactly what she will do if she finds out Cyrus tried to kill Britt!
