General Hospital Spoilers: Ongoing Character Has Been Recast – See Who Shows Up Looking Different!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that a pivotal character has been recast and fans will be seeing a new face onscreen.

The role is not minor since it is squarely involved Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton’s (Daniel Goddard) research. Carolyne Maraghi debuted as Greta, the courier who picked Dalton’s backpack at the Metro Court pool.

From there, Greta was tracked down to Croatia. In response, WSB boss Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) sent Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) to discover what exactly is going on.

Word is that Maraghi wasn’t available for more scenes thus the show did a recast. SOD reports that Cecily Elliott will play the part of Greta during the week of August 18-22. We can’t wait to see how she spins the character!

Greta is a bad girl if she’s entangled with Dalton, the WSB, and the Five Poppies Resort. As such, she may meet with the mystery boss’ disapproval and become dispensable.

Pascal (Marc Forget) works for the unseen boss and manages everything at the resort. Will he be told to get rid of Greta permanently?

Is Greta Long for This World?

Let’s face it, couriers are a dime a dozen in the underworld so poor Greta may have made a grave (pun intended) mistake.

We expect her to plead for her life if she has the chance, so we’ll have to wait and see how this new twist plays out. What we do know is that the drama at the Five Poppies is ramping up and there is more to come!

Five Poppies Drama Ramps Up

Josslyn and Vaughn’s cover was blown because of WSB leaker Colette Moreau (Mercedes Lopez Renard). In the Monday, August 18 episode, Joss shot and a man who was strangling Vaughn.

Vaughn later finished him off with a pillow. Afterward she collapsed in the shower and Vaughn joined her. As long as Josslyn and Vaughn remain onsite, their lives are in danger.

What Happens Next On GH?

Josslyn plans to approach Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) for intel and we suspect this will not end well. Additionally, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is at the resort which means the body count could increase.

He’s made contact with Britt and we expect more chaos to ensue. How will Greta be involved in the soapy shenanigans? Be sure to tune in and find out!
