General Hospital Spoilers: Parent Switch! Britt Rocco’s Mom After All?!

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Carr) birth mother, and she carried him after stealing Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) fertilized embryo with her husband at the time, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zampronga).

Since Britt’s deception was revealed seven months after Rocco was born, Lulu and Dante got him back and he has been believed to be his parents since.

However, what if that was not really ever true at all? What if Rocco was Britt’s son this whole time and she never even knew herself?

Britt Westbourne Was Already Pregnant Before She Was Implanted With Lulu Spencer’s Fertilized Embryo

Trying to hold on to Dr. Patrick Drake (last played by Jason Thompson), Britt had her mother, Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) implant her with Lulu’s fertilized embryo. She didn’t ask questions when she soon found out that she was pregnant.

But what Britt didn’t know is that she was already pregnant when she had the procedure done, therefore the fertilized embryo did not take.

Britt carried the baby, and later gave birth to him, believing that he was Lulu and Dante’s son the whole time, never knowing or realizing that “Ben” (the name she gave the baby) was hers all along!

Britt Westbourne Gave The Baby Back To Lulu Spencer And Dante Falconeri Never Knowing It Was Hers

When Britt confessed the truth, she reluctantly gave the baby back to Dante and Lulu. Britt was devastated because she loved “Ben” and fell in love with the child. She felt a bond with him that she had never felt before.

Perhaps it was so hard for her because she was actually his mother, and it was so hard for her to go through it. It took a long time for Britt to get over losing the baby, and she always loved him despite the fact that he was Dante and Lulu’s child.

A DNA Test Was Never Done On Rocco Falconeri

After Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) read Britt’s confession and told Dante and Lulu the truth, they demanded their son back from Britt. Everyone just took this as the truth, including Britt, and no DNA test was never administered on Rocco.

Therefore, it is entirely possible that Rocco belongs to Britt. She could have been pregnant before Liesl implanted the embryo in Britt. Although Liesl is a talented doctor, she also may not have realized that Britt was already pregnant.

The fact that no DNA test was ever conducted could be an indication that Rocco really doesn’t belong to Rocco and Lulu.

Who’s The Daddy?

The question is that if Rocco is actually Britt’s son, who is the father? Well, it could very well be Patrick’s son after all.

Another possibility is Nikolas Cassadine (last played by Adam Huss), who was involved with Britt during that time, and was involved in raising “Ben.” Could Nikolas have been raising his own son with Britt and never even knew it?!
