General Hospital spoilers tease that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) has been in and out of Port Charles for decades. Known for her snarky wit and her vicious schemes, Tracy has always been a force of nature. She once withheld her own father’s heart medication as he was having a heart attack to keep him from disinheriting her. But as cruel as she can be, she really loves her family and that has never changed. But in recent months, viewers have seen a whole new side to Tracy.

General Hospital Spoilers – Tracy Quartermaine has changed!
Tracy was devastated a couple of years ago when her true love, Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) was suddenly killed when Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) had his cable car tampered with. But even then, Tracy has retained her fierce love of her family and ELQ, the family business.
She’s remained as snarky as ever but thanks to both Brook Lynn Quartermain (Amanda Setton) and the late Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) she actually became a much nicer person.
GH Spoilers – Tracy Quartermaine comforted Violet Finn
Tracy was relieved when she saw that her friend, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) was calling. But her relief turned to terror when it was Finn’s young daughter, Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) at the other end of the line.

Finn, an alcoholic had passed out after cutting his hand and Violet found him. Tracy called paramedics and raced to Finn’s apartment. IT’s here that Elliot really shined.
Knowing that Violet was the priority, she managed to convince Violet that they needed to leave immediately. Love was just as amazing as she just wanted to help her father.
General Hospital Spoilers – Tracy Quartermaine reverted to form, sort of!
Tracy returned to Finn’s apartment alone. Elliot did a fantastic job of conveying Tracy’s disgust at herself for doing what she know had to be done. Her stifled sobs were chilling as she managed to take a picture of Finn who has still unconscious.

She also took pictures of all the broken glass on the floor. Then she pulled herself together, put together a suitcase for Violet and woke Finn up will smelling salts.
She knew she was doing a terrible thing, but she had no choice but to protect Violet and Elliot conveyed every single emotion with a skill not often seen in daytime television.

Jane Eliot is a gift. Fantastic acting. I’m so grateful she’s in the show again and hope doesn’t leave anytime soon.
Tracy has become one of my top 5 favorites on GH. Her acting is absolutely amazing. Also, I think she shows how classy and beautiful mature actors can really add some pizzazz to a series. It seems a lot of soaps forget that.
I absolutely love Jane! Tracy is a fantastic character, and only Jane Elliot makes her so.
Hopefully she will stick around a while
