General Hospital Spoilers: Peter August Out, Wes Ramsey’s Farewell Message!

General Hospital Spoilers indicate that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is most sincerely dead after the events of today’s episode of General Hospital. After running Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and her mother Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) off the road, a gun-toting Peter chased Maxie to a dam where he threatened to kill her. Felicia woke up in time to hit Peter over the head with a tire iron, where he fell to his death. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) lied that she called an ambulance and she was with her nephew as he took his last breaths. And then Peter died.

Peter’s portrayer Wes Ramsey took to Instagram to thank his fans for all their support. “Thank you for taking the journey with me. To those who were kind and supportive, my heart has felt inspired by you.” Ramsey has played Peter for four years now, and if nothing else, the role was controversial. Fans either loved or hated Peter. But there was never any doubt that he gave the role his all.

GH Spoilers – Peter August Is Most Sincerely Dead, At Least For Now.

Ramsey continued by thanking his friends and family, as well the cast and crew, and finally the writers, producers and directors. Peter generated quite a bit of story on the soap over the last four years. Maxie has certainly grown as a result of her experience with Peter. Viewers also saw a softer side of Anna, who believed that Peter was her son for much of his tenure on the soap!

General Hospital Spoilers – “It Was One Helluva Ride!”

Rasmsey concluded his post by saying, “It was one helluva ride!” That it was. Ramsey took the character of Peter August to his logical conclusion. And while on soap operas, there’s always a chance for the dead to come back, it looks like that at least for now Peter August is gone. But life in Port Charles will continue and viewers will have to keep tuning in to see what’s next for Maxie, Anna, Felicia and everyone else!
