General Hospital viewers will recall that he worked for the DVX during the years he was presumed dead.

GH Spoilers – Dr. Kevin Collins Revealed The DVX Had Contacted Him About His Mad Twin

When Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) was rescued from Ferncliff, where Ryan had switched with him and imprisoned him for several months while he took over his life, he revealed that the DVX had contacted him about his mad twin. It turns out they had rescued him from the funhouse explosion and he had worked for the DVX most of the years that he had been presumed dead, but he had had a psychotic break and the DVX was going to kill him if Kevin, his only known living relative, didn’t take him off their hands.

So Kevin took him and tried to fix him, but hadn’t anticipated he would forcibly switch with him and take over his life! But it was never revealed exactly what Ryan did all those years he worked for them…it was assumed he was an assassin, but possibly not. Perhaps he, too, worked for Euro Tech at the same time as Peter August and David Black (Lon Gowen) and can provide the missing link between them and attest that they did know each other!

General Hospital Spoilers – Why Didn’t Ryan Chamberlain Expose Peter August Before Now If He Knew Him?

Viewers might want to know why Ryan didn’t expose Peter before now if he knew him – after all, he ran Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) series in The Invader that caused her to become his target when she did a little too much investigation! For one thing, Ryan was impersonating Kevin – and if he exposed Peter then he would have blown his cover.

Plus, Peter might be the one person Ryan may have been afraid of – knowing if he exposed him that he would be killed! Peter might have sent a DVX goon to finish him off! Peter, in the meanwhile, had other things on his mind and thought Ryan was Kevin like everyone else did! Ryan didn’t see a need to kill Peter “just in case” like Peter seems to be doing more recently, either.

Why Would Ryan Chamberlain Spill What He Knows Now?

If Ryan worked at Euro-Tech at the same time as Peter and David Black, why would he spill what he knows now? Maybe he thinks he can work a deal – Ryan has never actually had his court date for all the crimes he committed, he went straight into Pentonville to the infirmary after he had his kidney removed through trickery of several at GH and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and then into the prison because he is too dangerous to hold in the PCPD jail.

There is massive overcrowding at Pentonville and maybe he thinks if he gives this information he could get released with an ankle monitor while he awaits his court date. Considering the crimes he committed it’s doubtful he’ll get a deal but it’s worth a try! If he gives a LOT of DVX intel to the WSB, he might at least get transferred from Pentonville into one of WSB’s facilities!

      Peter has some sort of powerful ties to some people in the government which could help. I think that it is possible that those in the government have wanted Peter to do things for them maybe even hand Drew over to them so that he can go on covert missions again. Then the fact that this situation could be about the DVX could also come into play. It is possible that Peter is a DVX agent that has under orders like maybe they forced him to give them Drew and he can not get out. Anna was also for a time in the DVX and she finally got out. I oddly think that if there is a connection between Ryan and Peter though the DVX it would help. Robert understands the spy world. I think that if Peter turns on the DVX that Robert would help him find a way out of the situation that he is in. Robert would want Anna to be happy and helping Peter would make her happy. I have also thought that maybe Peter was a sleeper agent for the WSB. It would make sense that the WSB would want him to be one because of his ties to the criminal underworld through Faison. He could move around freely without anyone thinking that he was spying on them. WSB could then activate him. I have wanted Peter to be a part of the government or a spy for a long time. He wrote The Severed Branch which was nearly his autobiography. In the book his character was a spy with an evil father that he took down. It would work in so many ways. It would also be a way for it to explain a lot of the shady things he has been doing.
