General Hospital Spoilers – Peter Attempts to Break Free
GH fans know that for some time now, Peter August has apparently wished to leave his sordid past behind him. He’s wanted to break free of the evil legacy left to him by his father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). Yet Peter has found this task most difficult. In fact, GH viewers have watched as Peter has committed crime after crime. For example, Peter is known to have held Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) prisoner for more than five years in a Russian clinic!
That said, GH fans know that even then, Peter’s crimes were all about getting free of his father. To illustrate this, consider the fact that even in the instance with Jason Morgan, Peter was plotting to use Jason to have Cesar Faison killed. (Horrible, but GH fans can see the motivation behind Peter’s actions, can’t they?)
General Hospital Spoilers – Peter Truly Loves Maxie
Some GH fans believe that Peter is simply playing Maxie for a fool. These fans don’t believe that Peter loves Maxie. Instead, he is using Maxie to gain and maintain the appearance of a doting, loving family man. However, other GH viewers disagree. For these fans, it’s absolutely clear that Peter loves Maxie. As a case in point, wasn’t it Peter who delivered Maxie’s son, James West (Owen and Curtis Rufca)? Since then, has Peter treated Maxie and her children with anything but loving-kindness?

More to the point, GH viewers know that Peter has made it abundantly clear that he intends to spend his life with Maxie. Not only did Peter tell Maxie’s ex, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) that the two needed to get along since Peter was going to be in Maxie’s life indefinitely, but Peter also (for all intents and purposes) asked Maxie to marry him right in front of his mother, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)!
General Hospital Spoilers – Peter Might Find Holly
To truly cement his place among the good guys, Peter probably has to do something drastic. Expressing his undying love to Maxie won’t be enough for many GH fans. That’s because everyone knows that Peter is a smooth talker … but as they say, talk is cheap. That’s why Peter is going to have to do something no one really expects. Peter will have to do something like … find Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) ex-wife, Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) alive.
While Peter had planned on using Holly in a nefarious manner to distract Scorpio from investigating Peter’s involvement in the framing of Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gotti), Peter had not planned on having her murdered. Should Peter discover that Holly is actually alive and be the one to heroically bring her back to Scorpio … and possibly have to sacrifice something to do it … his redemption might be all but secured.
