Peter may decide to sneak in a few questions about Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) so it’s possible Peter may have an ulterior motive for accepting Valentin’s invitation. It’s not yet clear whether this is an invitation to a meal, or possibly even a wedding, but if Peter has an opportunity to spend enough time with Valentin, he will probably try to get some info about Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) leverage over Valentin. And, it’s also possible that by this time Peter and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will have the results of the DNA testing on Sasha they were going to drive out of town to obtain.

Perhaps the DNA test has come back showing Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) and Sasha are a match, even though it may not be mother and daughter. The DNA test may not show the exact relation, although it would show a high percentage of them being close female relatives. That could be anything from mother and daughter to cousin and cousin to sister and sister, although mother to daughter and sister to sister would show the highest percentages of relation to one another.
That might give Peter reason to accept Valentin’s invitation and perhaps rebuild their relationship with each other, although Peter will keep his guard up going forward since he knows Valentin cares more about the end than the means to get there!
