General Hospital spoilers tease Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) has been away from Port Charles for a minute tending to business back in Nixon Falls and touching base with old friends there. She’s headed back to Port Charles soon to check in at Charlie’s, and she might be surprised by what she finds out when she catches up with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

When Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) gives Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) the green light to expand his search and make her cancer story go viral, Phyllis is going to notice something about his story that makes sense to her, but why?

It’s taken months for Willow to truly accept her diagnosis. She didn’t even tell Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) the truth at first — that she was not only growing their child but fighting for her life while doing so. Michael has been a strong support for Willow thus far, but issues with his father might take his attention away more than she’d like in coming weeks.

That’s when Drew will become a stronger supportive role for Willow, and he will get her to open up and tell everyone the truth. As Drew utilizes his assets at Aurora Media to push Willow’s cancer story out, it’s going to touch the hearts of people everywhere. That’s when Phyllis is going to notice something that stands out to her.

GH Spoilers – Hint Denise Makenzie Has A Bigger Role Than We Knew

When Drew got his first lead during this investigation into where Willow came from, it was by way of a woman named Denise Makenzie (Alice Rietveld). She came to Port Charles claiming to have known Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) during their commune days, and having known Willow when she was Kali Miller.

However, Carly sabotaged that lead and had Denise tell Drew that Willow’s mother was a woman named Joan who died of a drug overdose years later. Denise is playing her cards and knows she can milk Carly for money while still holding back much of what she really knows. Denise may have actually played an integral role in helping Harmony take Willow from her mother. It will be Denise’s face that stands out to Phyllis — just like Harmony did as Lorraine Miller.

Phyllis remembers Denise, but will Denise remember Phyllis? She could, but that would likely lead to Denise trying to silence Phyllis, and we all know that woman is not easily manipulated. No one tells Phyllis what to do. Instead, Phyllis will probably see mention of Denise in the story, but Denise won’t lay eyes on Phyllis.

Will she end up connecting the dots that Denise was actually there when Nina’s baby was born — the same day Phyllis took baby Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) and carted her off to her adoptive parents in Florida?
