General Hospital spoilers tease that when it comes to parenting, some exes just don’t know how to quit it. Take Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), for example. They may have split up long ago, but they’re still practically joined at the hip when it comes to their daughter, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
They’re constantly hovering over her every move. So with Trina and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) home on the heels of falling in love in Greenland, things are bound to get a bit tense. Taggert promised Portia that if she didn’t stay out of Trina’s love life, she would come to regret it — but when has warning Portia of the consequences lurking ahead ever prevented her from doing the wrong thing?
General Hospital Spoilers — Portia Draws A Line In The Sand, Inadvertently
Portia and Trina’s reunion has been filled with gratitude at first glance, but rumors claim the tension between them could reemerge. It seems like Spencer may be the culprit behind the rumored relationship trouble, though the blame is really cast on Mommy Dearest. Portia is torn between voicing her opinion out of concern, and sitting back and letting Trina chart her own course. She won’t be welcoming to Spencer, and that’s going to bother Trina badly enough, but adding insult to injury will be Portia’s sharp tongue when she finally spews the truth about how she feels about the young Cassadine and his family. Will Trina align herself with that very family as a consequence?
GH Spoilers – Claim Love Triumphs
General Hospital spoilers show Trina and Spencer have an undeniable chemistry. Portia just isn’t giving herself a chance to take note of it, and why would she? She’s never heard a good thing about the Cassadine men, and the third-party reports from Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) about Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) have made her stomach churn. Why would she want her daughter anywhere near his son? Portia keeps missing the point. This isn’t about what she wants and she doesn’t get a say. That won’t stop her from trying to meddle though, and it’s going to come back to bite her when Sprina rises above it all.
General Hospital Spoilers — Curtis Ashford Is On Trina Robinson’s Side
It’s a tale of feuding parents. Portia will be left so traumatized by the experience of not knowing whether she would ever see Trina again that she will grow obsessed about keeping her safe. On the flip side, Curtis knew Trina was safe as soon as he found her in Greenland, and Portia may blame that assurance on his change of opinion.
But the truth is, Curtis saw the dynamic between Trina and Spencer when they were under pressure, and they acted like more of a team than Curtis and Portia ever have. He’s willing to give Trina the room to make her own decisions, and that’s going to make Curtis seem very appealing as a parental figure juxtaposed with her mother and Marcus. Is this the right time to take that DNA test? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
