General Hospital spoilers tease Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) are finally returning to Port Charles, and it’s bound to be an interesting homecoming for the young pair of lovebirds. Trina’s mom, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), has some explaining to do since Trina discovered that her whole life had been built on a lie. It turns out that Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) may not be her biological father after all. Instead, it could be Portia’s new hubby, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). Talk about a tangled web of love and lies!
According to General Hospital spoilers, Trina isn’t the only one who is having a hard time forgiving her mom either. Still, when push came to shove and she was trapped aboard a floating casino with a mad man intent on killing everyone, Trina knew who to call for help. Portia is waiting for her daughter with open arms, but she’s not going to offer a very warm welcome to Spencer. Just how well is that going to sit with Trina? Is this the next rift between mother and daughter?
General Hospital Spoilers — Trina Robinson And Spencer Cassadine Come Home
Portia has been through a lot since meeting Spencer and his great-uncle, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), though certainly now as much as her daughter has been through. All Portia wanted was her daughter back safe and sound, but forgiveness for Spencer may be a harder pill to swallow. He hurt Trina and got her mixed up with his insane ex-girlfriend Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), and now he nearly got her killed.
Portia’s attention to detail — like acknowledging that Trina voluntarily went after Spencer on her own — won’t be that granular. It’s hard to trust a family with a history of madness, and Portia just isn’t willing to try. It could cost her the barely-there relationship she is already clinging to with Trina though.
GH Spoilers – Suggest This Duo Is In It For The Long Haul
Trina and Spencer’s connection can only be described as magnetic. Despite her efforts to steer clear of him, they kept getting pulled back toward one another. Spencer seems to be putting in plenty of effort to make himself worthy of her love and trust. While he was held captive, his number one priority was always Trina’s safety.
Even when things got dangerous, he never hesitated to put himself in harm’s way to protect her. Curtis saw firsthand the depths of Spencer’s devotion to Trina. On the flipside, Trina showed her loyalty and love by refusing to leave him behind even when it meant putting herself in harm’s way. When Curtis tries to plead a case for Sprina, though, Portia won’t have it.
General Hospital Spoilers — Risky Business
Trina and Portia have had a pretty solid relationship up until recently. The revelation that her mother had been lying to her all her life really made Trina reevaluate who her mom is as a person.
Ironically, Portia will soon be doing the same as she starts to question where Trina’s respect for her mother flew off to, and why she’s so bent on endangering herself for a boy. She thought her daughter had a better head on her shoulders than this. Just how far is Portia willing to go to keep Trina away from Spencer, and will Marcus play a pivotal role as Curtis rallies behind Trina and lets her make her own decisions? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
