General Hospital Spoilers: Portia’s Lie Has Curtis Second-Guessing Their Marriage

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will have a lot to consider over the next few days. Who could blame him? He just found out that his newly married wife, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) has kept a massive secret from him for decades.

Not to mention the fact that the truth she hid from him was that he could be Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) dad. Since lies and secrets were what ended his last marriage to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), could Curtis contemplate an annulment this time around or will he try and work things out?

General Hospital Spoilers – Portia Robinson Tries To Explain, But Will Curtis Ashford Listen?

GH spoilers suggest that Portia will try to explain things the week of February 20th. From the sounds of added teasers, both Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) and Curtis will be upset. Rightfully, so! While Portia isn’t exactly sure who Trina’s father is, if it ends up being Mr. Ashford, he may never forgive Robinson for the years he lost with his daughter. As for Taggert, he’ll likely be upset at her for lying to him, for so long. Marcus will continue to play a father figure role in Trina’s life, no matter what the DNA test results say.

Regardless, Jordan warned Portia to tell Curtis the truth before she married him; Robinson ignored that advice. However, the fact that Portia not only lied to Curtis about Trina’s true paternity when she first came to Port Charles, but also all throughout their renewed romance, engagement, new house purchase, and past their wedding vows; will have Ashford seeing red. She had so many opportunities to tell him the truth and she chose not to. Portia can try to justify her reasoning all she wants, but Curtis may not listen.
