Laura’s Concerns

At General Hospital, Laura is there to support Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) as they await the completion of Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) surgery.

Jordan served as Laura’s Deputy Mayor until she took on the undercover role for Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), a fact Laura is fully aware of, along with the risks it entails.

She poses questions that one might expect from a detective or a spy agency operative, prompting Curtis to ponder deeply.

Laura inquires of Curtis whether it’s possible that the car accident was intentional. Could there have been someone on the road that night with malicious intent, deliberately causing the crash?

Willow’s Terror

Meanwhile, at the Cain residence, Willow is in a state of terror as she sits on the couch beside her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

She exclaims, “My entire future is at stake!” What could be instilling such terror in Willow; has she received threats from someone?

Or are both Nina and Willow in danger, with Nina yet to inform Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) of Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) whereabouts?

Earlier, Jack had warned Nina about the potential reemergence of that traffic cam footage, which captured a distraught Willow in her car near the house on the night Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was shot.

Jack Requests Repayment

Next, we find Jack informing someone that it’s time to settle the debt-could this be his reasoning to Nina for why he restored the missing traffic cam video?

Although Willow cannot be retried for the offense due to double jeopardy laws, if this video were to surface, it could spark a massive scandal, jeopardizing her role as Congresswoman Cain!

Clearly, Willow is not keen on having her term cut short due to a scandal, especially since she initially took the position from Drew after incapacitating him.

What other forms of repayment might Jack be seeking, and for what reasons? How many individuals owe Jack for favors rendered?

Ric’s Critical Advice

Now we see Ric alongside Sonny, delivering critical advice; he advises Sonny that they must be ready if Sidwell chooses to take action against them.

At Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) funeral, Sidwell made it abundantly clear that he holds Sonny responsible for Marco’s demise, which Ric and Sonny witnessed while paying their respects.

Sidwell is a grieving father filled with anger, blame, and a thirst for vengeance, and he will seek retribution by any means necessary.

He’s already shifting blame throughout Port Charles, having accused many already. And if he can’t identify the actual murderer, he’ll find someone to scapegoat and punish!

Justine Makes A Promise

Acting District Attorney Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) appears to be somewhat uneasy about the situation with Sidwell as she assures someone, “I’ll take care of Mr. Sidwell.”

Despite this, she doesn’t seem overly concerned, even though she knows that the incapacitated Jordan is undercover as Sidwell’s right-hand woman.

Justine clearly has a strategy in mind that she believes will keep the angriest man in Port Charles in check.

However, there are certain aspects she is unaware of, and Jordan is in the dark as well. Sidwell has been careful to involve Jordan only in his legitimate activities; she remains oblivious to the partnership with Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and their connection to Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project.

Valentin Is Suspicious Of Carly

Meanwhile, at Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) residence, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is feeling suspicious of her.

After witnessing her sneak Jack into her bedroom while he observed their conversation from the deck, her secret lover is both hurt and furious!

Valentin confronts Carly, questioning how long it will be before she betrays him, following their argument about whether he was being truthful with her or not!

It’s a safe bet that their disputes will persist regarding who Carly truly desires, the WSB spy or the infatuated Cassadine!

Carly may continue to be torn between two lovers, as she was pretending Jack was Valentin when she was in bed with him!
