General Hospital spoilers reveal a preview clip has been released for Wednesday, July 1, 2026. It shows a new hostage situation. Plus, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) thwarts Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey).

Let’s start off with Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza). Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) will think it’s safest for Gio to move out of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) place.

However, Gio has no intention of leaving.

Joe Fitzpatrick’s Risk

Over with Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett), he will power through to make sure that an alert is sent out for fake Nathan West.

That was really quite a scene between Cassius Faison, Joe, Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove), and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota)!

However, I wonder if something could happen to Joe as a result of his head wound.

Cody Bell’s Rescue

General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, July 1 reveal that Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) just left a voicemail for Cody.

Felicia warned in the message that Nathan is not who he claims, and to protect James West (Gary James Fuller).

It seems that Cody will get that message just in the nick of time.

Cody will be the one to stop Cassius from taking off with James.  Cody knows what it’s like to have nowhere left to turn, and to have everyone thinking the worst of you.

The horse handler also knows that adding kidnapping to the list of charges would only make things worse for Cassius. 

They would never stop looking for James. So, I wonder if Cassius will do the right thing and leave James with Cody

 

Liesl Obrecht’s Surgery

As for the hostages at Wyndemere, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) performs surgery on wiring. 

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) can be heard asking if it’s the right wire. Well, there is only one way to find out!

Jenz Sidwell’s Hostage

In a surprising twist, Sidwell takes a new hostage. Sidwell just happens to target ADA and Sonny’s part-time love interest, Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor).

What Else to Expect

As for what else to expect in tomorrow’s episode, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) makes a grim discovery.

In the preview clip, it sounds like Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) isn’t breathing.

However, I wonder if Nina will end up saving him. Also, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) ends up overhearing shocking intel, so stay tuned!
