General Hospital Spoilers: Prison Bloodbath Is A Setup – Secret Mastermind Frames Mob Boss?General Hospital spoilers and updates pose the question, is Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) really the one behind the Pentonville Prison attacks?

A Prison Connection Raises Questions

General Hospital fans will remember that Drew spent some time in Pentonville Prison, and may still have some contacts there-and at that time, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) did have protection.

But it was protection for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and other friends and family of Sonny’s when he did use them, not for Drew! But Curtis thinks Sonny still has protection there and that he’s going to get it-that may not be the case.

Someone tries to protect Curtis, however, when another inmate comes to him and tells him not to be in his cell at lunchtime, according to a preview clip for this week.

That inmate and another one later return, when Jenz is alone in the cell with a book.

Prison Attack Goes Horribly Wrong

Curtis will intervene and be badly injured, trying to save Jenz, who’s older-but Curtis will get the worst of the two, and be put in ICU in General Hospital. This scenario may sound familiar-Drew was badly beaten in Pentonville trying to save the life of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

It makes a sick kind of sense for Drew to be behind the beating that potentially takes Curtis’ life or nearly does, in an effort to frame Sonny for the beatdown-although Curtis isn’t the intended target.

That’s obvious, or Curtis wouldn’t have been warned to not be in his cell! Curtis is simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, trying to help the wrong person!

A Revenge Motive Emerges

Drew thinks Sonny is at least one of the causes of all his problems, and he didn’t agree to help Ava Jerome (Maura West) with Sonny simply out of the goodness of his heart!

For one thing, he needed that obstacle named Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) removed, although he never did find the leverage he had on him.

So that’s one down, and a whole bunch more to go for Drew to get his problems handled-or, preferably eliminated!

Drew knows that Sonny wants Sidwell gone, and he could have his people on the inside take care of it. He didn’t bank on Curtis doing the same thing with Sidwell that he did with Cyrus, however, with very similar results!
